Little Hop

Tacos are on my top 10 list of what I love most in life. In particular, I LOVE fish tacos. I initially ordered 3 tacos - chicken, fish and green bean. My plate was emptied in less than 5 minutes. Each one was amazing. Then I had to order another fish one and also tried the beef. Again - I was lost for words. Tacos disappeared from my plate. Delicious. The staff epitomised the Inner North cool vibes I’d expect from a place like this, and were so friendly and attentive! Thank you Little Hop for an unforgettable dinner.

We went for lunch on Sunday. Cute place, friendly staff. One of the best tacos I've had in Melbourne. Great paired with their beer!

We loved the food. The space is tiny inside but they have tables outside, with gas heaters, to dine at which makes you miss out in the atmosphere inside. All in all a wonderful eating experience.

One of the best little taco shops in the city. Intimate and cozy vibe much like you would find in a Mexican taqueria. A wide range of both veggie and meat tacos which can be ordered individually so you get to try a bunch of different flavours. Tasty margs and super friendly service, this place is a must visit if you love tacos.

Amazing restaurant! They have so many drink options and I they have many happy hour promo as well. Btw Ruby is so good!

I LOVE coming here and the tacos are amazing. The tacos I rate as 5 star… best in Melbourne. But to the chick that was on service tonight, she has ruined little hop for me. This review and rating is purely on the customer service. So disappointing

Lovely Taco place with vegetarian options too! Have been here several times. Good quality food for decent prices. Friendly staff members.

Went here tonight with a few friends (4) of us after being advised it was highly hyped.
Worst margarita all four of us have ever had, $70 for a jug. Bill came to $190 and to be honest I'm not sure why it's hyped.the tacos (we tried zucchini, mushroom, fish, chicken, beef and pork) and everything was so so. Service was great, staff were lovely but I could probably make a better taco.

This not so hidden gem is a monthly must at least for my friends, family and I. Little Hop has become a Fitzroy locals fave and never lets you down on food, cocktails and service!

The staff were so so lovely and gave me a free drink after I was ordering upon their recommendations. So kind of you guys! I appreciate it. You were also so attentive and took care of us well.

The tacos were all fantastic flavour. My favourite was the beef with the table hot sauce (YUM!). Be careful if you don't like spicy though, those hot sauces are not for the faint. The bean tacos were a close 2nd and were surprisingly super good. Same with the chicken tacos. All the food came out quickly as well! I do wish that the shop had a bulk deal on their tacos where you could save money depending on how much you ordered. Or some specials of the day depending on what products they have too much of.

Great food, good staff, and mezcal choices. The vegetarian tacos were amazing - especially the mushroom. Small place but excellent quality. Deserves to be higher up the list than it is!

+1 star required but reached the highest already. Fantastic place to chill and have a cocktail during the day and vibrant at night with great music (vinyl records). The food is impossibly good! Service is always happy and welcoming!

My fav tacos. Sometimes the fish taco is inconsistently cooked or flavourful but I just love this place. Best tacos around!

Absolutley delicious food, the vegetarian options are awesome - and very worth the price.always full after two tacos, which are fresh, with super yummy sauce, as well as the hot sauce options on the side.the alcoholic drinks are also worth a try, super refreshing and well-made after a filling lunch.keep it up!

Awesome service. Delicious food. Try to arrive outside peak mealtimes so as to not have to wait for a table, but even then the queue processes pretty fast! Get the fish tacos. You will not regret it.

The menu has a variety of tacos with both meat and vegetable options. Dined outside and ordered four of their tacos. For the beef, pork and chicken tacos, there were a lot of sauce but as I pick them up, the sauce dripped off quite easily leaving the meat pretty dry. Salsa helped a little but the meat itself does not have much flavour. The fish taco was the opposite; it was drenched with too much chipotle mayo that I can't taste anything else but the mayo. Service was good but unfortunately the tacos were just alright.

The best fish tacos ever! Super crunchy and delicious with all the other condiments in the taco. The habanero hot sauce is amazing and will take your taco to the next level.
