Little by Little Cafe

Little by Little was my go-to cafe, but after my last couple of visits, I have to say the service has gone incredibly down hill. Today I visited to pick up a ham and cheese croissant (toasted) for take away, which they have already made up in their cabinets at the counter. It took twenty minutes from the time I ordered to get my toasted croissant, which was barely toasted and cold when I opened it in my car, and in the meantime I had to ask staff twice about my order. Not wasting my money or my time here again.

Great little café in Berwick. We decided to go here after a friend’s recommendation. Interior décor was super cute, and we loved the layout of the café and the outdoor seating area. The menu was mouthwatering, and we settled on their Crispy Chicken Waffles and Potato Croquettes. For drinks, we ordered the Mocha and Magic Mango.

The food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering, despite being busy on a Friday brunch period. The food looked so yummy and instagrammable. The potato croquettes were fluffy and crunchy, pairing perfectly with the hollandaise, bacon, and eggs. The only suggestion would be to have the option to have the maple syrup on the side, as the amount poured on was slightly overpowering.

The portion given for the crispy chicken waffle was generous! The waffle was crunchy, and the chicken was nice and juicy, albeit a little sweet. The popcorn on there was a nice addition but could have been removed and we would not have noticed.

The mocha was slightly too bitter, but the magic mango smoothie was refreshing – balancing sweet and sour. Having said that, it was a bit pricey at $8.90.

Overall, it is a nice café and we left feeling super full. There were other menu items that enticed our stomachs, so we will be returning for sure.

Entrance is extremely difficult to find from the road, did a big lap to get back to the entrance.
Food was quick to come & beautiful presented, however my fried egg was undercooked & as you can see from the photo still had the membrane raw, I'm all for runny egg, but the egg white including the membrane needs to be cooked properly.
That & the fact the waitresses never asked how our food was, I would not return.
If you do go to little by little I would make sure everything is cooked through.

Cold undercooked bacon when crispy was ordered, 3 different excuses and no real apologies. Expensive meal when most was not eaten

Food and the ambiance was really nice. Even the coffee I drank was awesome that made me buy the beans from restaurant. Staffs were friendly but the service was slow.

Excellent service provided by Aaron. Meal was very nice and big servings. Really love this restaurant. Been there a few times and never been disappointed, both with the meals or the service provided.

Had to sit outside in the cold, hedgehog slice was so cold that it was chewy. Very expensive but staff were friendly and coffee took ages but was nice.

Delicious mocha and yummy food! Fried chicken waffles and mushroom bowl were authentic and yum! Worth a drive out to this little gem.

We went out for breakfast, haven't been here before. It was not bad, but, not overly impressive. The staff were friendly and had good Covid practices. The waffles were 1 and a half waffle. There were cleaning supplies on the counter next to the uncovered muffins and more cleaning supplies next to the slices. (Put them in a tub away from the food.) My food was very late arriving, they forgot about it obviously. The waffle and a half had been mostly eaten before my plate arrived. The Hot chocolate was just warm and tasted ok. I would go back if my daughter wanted to but l would not rush myself.

It’s a hidden gem. My first attempt on waffle and fried chicken combo which I really loved. We also ordered the fried chicken burger with chips which was perfect. Plus that iced coffee and hot choc was good and very friendly staff which gave us a great experience.

Lovely little Cafe, excellent brisket burger, weird make it yourself iced coffee with coffee on the side made a huge mess but otherwise great

Disrespectful and unprofessional.

Gave me the wrong coffee and when I told them I didn't order this she looked at me as if I was crazy or something.

The they gave me a flat white instead of a cappuccino this time she looked at me as if I was being difficult.

It's not the customers fault that you don't know how to make a coffee and mix up the orders with only 6 customers in the cafe.

When they finally brought the cappuccino she just dumped it on the table without making any eye contact or making any comments or apologising for wasting our time. Very disappointing.

I was polite and patient the whole time but will never go back there again.

I have to say that the girl at the register was nice though. When it was time to pay for the coffee.

I really like this place. Healthy options, naughty but nice options and a really goid feel. Although i must say a little cold in winter there in the back room. But dont let that stop you, take a jacket and go because the food is gorgeous!

Coffee is to die for.
The staff are universally lovely, and they remember us. This place is a must-visit. We eat there regularly and wouldn't miss it.

Always good food and great service. Plus they can cater for gluten and dairy intollerances. Sometimes busy but its never too long a wait for a table.

Occasion big or small, we love visiting this lovely Cafe. Being dog friendly is a bonus. Staff are very attentive and professional. Food is always delicious and looks too beautiful to eat. I love their Mork Chocolate yum!

Good coffee and a nice little shop. Food is delicious but has the potential to be better more filling serves for the price.

My daughter went with a group of friends for brunch. The waiter messed up the order and bought out an extra serve of waffles instead of an acia bowler. It was taken back and the correct item came out. When they went to pay they were made to pay for the waffle that was sent back. It was the waiters error and they took advantage of a group of young girls. Disgusting behaviour.
