Linda was so lovely and accommodating at very short notice. Super happy with her work making a small adjustment re.skirt sizing for me last year (meant to review earlier!). Reasonable pricing too! Recommend completely.

Linda is amazing, I can't recommend her highly enough. She is patient, accommodating, and incredibly skilled at what she does. She altered two wedding dresses for me, including one at the eleventh hour and they came out perfectly. Very reasonably priced as well! She also makes wedding dresses from scratch and if I found her before I found my wedding dress (and had enough lead time) I would have had her custom make my dress. Hopefully I have a good excuse in the future to have a dress made by her.

Linda is AMAZING. Tailored a vintage dress for me to wear to my wedding. She did an exceptional job, she's personable and patient.

Linda was amazing making me the perfect wedding dress from my description and a few photos. She helped me source the material and it was perfectly made for my body. She was great at communication all the way through the process and I had so many compliments on my wedding day about my beautiful dress. She was also extremely well priced for a dress made from scratch with no pattern.

Linda helped me with my wedding dress fitting, as I had a very very long and unruly train on my wedding dress (with about 10 separate layers of tulle!). She did a wonderful job, and met with me multiple times for fittings before my wedding. She is very friendly, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. She also makes custom dresses which she has around the stores that look beautiful! I would highly recommend Linda!

Linda is incredible! Not only is she a wonderfully talented seamstress, she is also the loveliest person to work with. I'm thrilled with the alterations she made on my long and fragile Victorian skirt. It now looks amazing, and I can't wait to wear it to my daughter's wedding. Highly recommend:)

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Linda. My dress was perfect in every way and nothing was an issue. Linda also altered my daughter's bridesmaid dresses and they fitted beautifully. My girl's were extremely happy. Her knowledge and willingness to please is amazing. I would highly recommend Linda for any dress alteration/design.

Having Linda as my dressmaker to get my wedding dress altered was truly an amazing experience. Not only was she kind and considerate with all the changes that I wanted for my wedding dress, she was also patient and gave me great suggestions. I got my dress altered last minute and she worked so hard on it that I even got to pick up my dress on the eve of taking a flight for my wedding. The moment I walked through the door, she was very welcoming (so was Tessa, her beautiful mini schnauzer). I'm totally blind and hearing-impaired and I am overweight no thanks to medication I was prescribed years ago of a psychiatric nature which did my body so much harm wasn't funny, unfortunately this led to me not being able to wear a lot of clothes from the shops so a friend of mine took me to Linders shop and her partner ran a record store at the bottom although I'm not interested in records, Linda was extremely rude, I was trying to be polite to her but not only was she rude but she smelt bad without a shower, that was not the worst of it, my friend howie Who was my carer at the time took me to North good because I found her when I was trying to get my pyjamas repaired before we went away on holiday in 2016 although at the time we never got to go there before the holiday, early 2017 we booked a time to go in there with the materials he had purchased although they weren't the right materials as he wasn't used to getting clothes made, and he did not know what was best for me and because I am blind I don't know what is best for me unless I feel the materials but at the time I wasn't able to before he brought them home, the upshot of it all, Linda cancelled and number of times especially when I was dressed and ready to go and it wasn't easy getting into the clothes that I had because of the weight that I was back then which was actually a lot more than I am now, when I told her that I wanted the pyjamas the same pattern as the ones I already had, she did them too big, and the clothes too small, she refused to provide advice on the materials that would be best for me and when I told her that I really couldn't fit them, she muttered, go somewhere else then! Sorry Linda, I would give you zero stars if I could! No one should ever go to her again for anything Believe me, you would have to be desperate to go to her, problem is I don't know of anyone else and I can't find anyone! Its hell, even just for PJ's they split if you get them from the shop, but she has made my experience extremely harrowing as a blind person!

Linda is very friendly and professional. She is reasonably priced. Even though she had lots of work on, she still took on my job and had it ready on time. I will definitely use her again. Thanks Linda great job!

I approached Linda with an idea of a dress for a gala event I was attending.

Being plus size I’ve found it incredibly hard in the past to find a dressmaker that understands how to create garments that look good - let alone great - for my shape.

Not only did Linda understand what my vision was, she was able to work with my body to certain the most amazing sequin dress for me. Not only is the dress stunning, but I feel totally amazing wearing it off.
