Lincraft reviews
32Helpful and reliable staff! The variety is great ranging from fabrics, knitting yarn, sewing items, lace, craft, bath towels, curtains, puzzle and color activities, paper needs, and a lot of fun and interesting things. I find it cheaper compared to other stores which sell fabric plus you can ask for just the right amount of fabric you need here at Lincraft. I wanted just a little piece of fabric for artwork and was not forced to buy a whole bunch of roll which is amazing and sustainable!
You walk into a Lincraft store and it seems that you walk back in time. I don't think they've changed anything in that store in the last 30 years.
It's always pleasurable coming in, I get looked after by the friendly team of staff always willing to help.
Lots of craft items available, not one staff approached me though.the store is a little cramped, worth a visit if you want to craft with your children.
Yet another disappointing trip and very unhelpful staff who doesn’t know what’s in their own store
Lincraft shops are slowly disappearing, so when we see one we 'tour' the aisles.
This one is jam packed, and we came out with a bag of wool, picks, & needles for 'that' project.
Happy to recommend.
Great place to get your crafting needs. Don't hesitate to ask for help. I surely did. And got exactly what I needed from the friendly staff. Will visit again
Remember that year 8 textiles class you had to do in high school and were probably not great at, but you did it because you had to and schools were finally being progressive and making boys and girls do home economics, woodwork, metal work and textiles?
Well this place is for people who are good at textiles, like really good, or just awesome at craft and find it a great relaxation and hobby.
It's got it all - feels very welcoming and has so much stuff.
Great place to come get any of your crafting needs, staff are always very helpful and polite. It's always a pleasure to come here
One girl behind the desk with about 8 people waiting each person was taking about 7/8 minutes to be served
Not a great craft store anymore. Lincraft used to be my go to! Unfortunately now there's not much stock and what is there doesn't seem very good quality, but very expensive prices. I did find an AMAZING "I'm flying Jack! " cat statue though! $11 down from $46! Absolutely would not have paid $46 for it!
THE STAFF KNOW ABOUT SEWING! If you are new to sewing, this Lincraft actually employs people who know how to sew, and that you can ask for help! All other Lincrafts and Spotlights I've visited don't employ staff who know about sewing. So dumb! This is the best one! Xx
I love art and craft. Where ever I go I search for a craft shop near me. During my stay in Melbourne I visited this place which was at the high street near my accommodation. When I visited this place it exactly felt like hobby craft shop in the UK which I loved the most. I explored a lot and got some stuff for myself and my family. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for some art or craft supplies just walk in to Linctaft.:)
Very disappointed
Drove all the way from Richmond to there because it said it was open till 6 pm!
Well it's not
I have shopped at Lincraft for many years on and off. I hadn't been to the malvern store for a long time. Staff were so lovely and helpful, BUT, I'm sorry to say that the store looks EXTREMELY shabby. It's a shame because it was always so beautiful.
Very friendly and knowledgable staff unlike veeeery unfriendly SPOTLIGHT staff. Highly recomended.
Quite limited selection of yarns and needles for knitting, most ly lower range quality for average prices. Choice of bedding was also limited, but quality seemed better and prices more realistic
Great customer service - someone immediately available, listened well, served cheerfully and met my needs.
Average experience.not much variety and service staff are practically non existent. If you know specifically what you want and just pop in and buy it then that's fine.if you need some support or help searching then you're on your own.
