25This was the former staff quarters at may day Hills. The rooms are nice, if you love history the old buildings and gardens are very unique and there are very few former mental asylums left anywhere in Australia. Be sure to do a ghost tour or paranormal investigation with asylum ghost tours there too
A hotel with a lot of characters and history. If you are looking for something unique, this is the place. It was used to be a quarter for nurses who worked at the asylum. The hotel also offers free bicycles to explore nearby area. Totally recommend a ride to Lake Sambell. The manger and staff was very friendly and attentive.
Well appointed rooms in an old, converted asylum across from the George Kerferd hotel. Comfortable, clean and very reasonably priced.
Great hotel. Love the story behind it being the nurses quarters. Beds are really comfortable and the restaurant is awesome. As they say Great Food, Great Wine, Great Company. This place is so underrated
Friendly hotel staff. Love the history of the hotel. Reception is at the George kerferd hotel 100m up the driveway. One family owned the hotels under one management with two buildings. The linaker is historic art deco building. Haven't started at the George Kerferd. But love the estate so much we will definitely come back.
