Amazing and authentic Turkish food, with beautiful atmosphere! We had 5 course chief menu! $69 per person was a very reasonable price for the quality of fine dining and the generous portion of meal! It was the authentic flavour of Turkish food and well cooked! Their service was perfect! I highly recommend this restaurant!

My family and I visited for the first time last week and we were totally blown away. Everything was impeccable. Even my mother, who is very fussy, left thoroughly impressed. The generous portions and warm vibe made us feel like we were at a dinner with extended family.

For entrees, we ordered the Kalamar (calamari), Koft Durum (lamb kofte), Manti (beef dumplings) and Lahmacun (minced lamb).

For mains, we had Cerkez Tavuk (grilled chicken & walnut paste), Guvec (Seafood Claypot), Istanbul Kuzu (leg of lamb), Kalamar Dolma (squid) with a side of Pilav.

We were running late, and I currently require use of a wheelchair, but the staff were lovely and accommodating, asking each diner to stand up while they rearranged a path for me to my table.

We can't wait to return and try the platters!

Very disappointed. Room was too hot stuffy, too noisy and difficult to converse with friends. The Istanbul lamb dish with pitta bread on top was only 1/4 full! Complete rip off! My friend had the seafood dish but it was mostly chunks of potato, tomato, carrot and the sauce was watery. The baclava desert was $17 so we left without having desert.

It was first time in Lezzet tonight i. I love the dish call Istanbul ic pilav. Taste and presentation was brain melting.
Service was welcoming, nice time managing between dishes.

Came here with a large group and had the Lezzet platter, and it was honestly one of best meals I've ever had. The portions were very generous, and the food itself and the service was amazing. The only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars was the 5% credit card surcharge (which is actually illegal as you can't charge more than the cost of the transaction, and the fact this isn't mentioned anywhere on the menus).

Had a booking here with the Fork Festival "50% off food" promotion, which is a nice opportunity to try out some new restaurants without breaking the bank. When I got the bill the discount was not applied to the dessert. When I inquired about that I was told "dessert is not food". Last time I checked the dictionary it said: "A dessert is a type of food that is eaten after lunch or dinner. It is usually a sweet food, like ice cream, cookies, cakes and sometimes cheese. " The waiter was however adamant that a dessert is not food and kept on repeating this nonsense again and again. He even called his manager about this disagreement, asking him to explain to me that a dessert is not food. Guys, if you don't like the T&C's of the promotion then simply don't join (or make your special conditions clear upfront), but don't harass your customer if you singlehandedly change the rules of the game.

Then about the food.the starters: grilled lamb kofte was very nice. Slow cooked lamb ribs were tasty, but very little meat. The mains: Anatolian lamb shoulder had a rich flavour and the meat was beautiful, but also small portion with lots of fat. The seafood claypot was very disappointing; quite generous amount of seafood, but no flavour and shrimps were really dry. We didn't finish it because it was just unpleasant to eat. The beetroot salad also had little flavour and lacked goat cheese. The dessert: semolina cake had a really nice almond bite to it, but small portion and wouldn't happily pay the normal price of $15 (also no mention by the waitress that desserts were not part of the promotion). Personally wasn't a fan of the Turkish Pinot Noir.

Note that I always leave a raving review if the food, service and value were good, especially when using a promotion, so I can do something in return. But the treatment I received at Lezzet left us with a sour taste.

My daughter and I had a fabulous dinner together. She is a vegan and was delighted that there was a separate menu with a vast choice. Our waiter was Enver who was so helpful and accommodating. We will certainly be back!

Oh man, I had forgotten just how fabulous this restaurant is. Superb food! Great selection of imported wines, too. Tastebuds were spoilt, I'll never be happy anywhere else. Loved it. Thanks guys!

Poor service. Food was average. Seated in the middle of the restaurant we asked to move twice and they couldn’t accommodate. People walking by were constantly hitting the table (mostly staff). Very uncomfortable meal.

Fantastic, simply was perfect. Came here with my friends during the week and had the giant meat platter. Absolutely loved it, outstanding service and the food simply melted in your mouth. I'll be back.

5 star all the way the food was incredible the best Turkish I’ve ever had. Tried to convince him to open in Sydney highly recommended booking a must! Will come back again and again.

The place is very cozy and comfortable. We are always welcomed very warmly by the staff. The food is really tasty and delicious and service is fantastic. I have been regular to Lezzet with all the family events. I have recommended this place to many of my friends and they have thanked for it. If you wanna have really nice time with drinks and good food you should definktely visit Lezzet

Here in Melbourne for a holiday. Came to try Lezzet for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. Would definitely be back and recommend to anyone coming to Melbourne.

We have been to this place twice. This is one of those rare places where all (most) the dishes have been exceptional - tasty, unique and quality ingredient. Food here are of Turkish based but with a touch of Middle Eastern influence. Twice left the restaurant feeling impress and of good value. Must try for food lover looking for something slightly different.
