Its okay. The food is Egyptian and filled with spices. The portions for the main meals are extremely small. Argileh is good though

They have to get lot lot better with their service and hospitality.
Food, time to serve, customer service all below par.
I dont frequently or easily get upset but they were pathetic in their service.
Wish them well and am giving a critical review to encourage them to get better in customer service.

Food was good and tasty, could have been better though! For example the bread was a normal Lebanese bread that you buy from supermarket. Service was good, staff were friendly.
Location is good and we got a okay table.
Shisha was also good but not the best in Melbourne. $35 for that shisha was a good price though.
Overall happy with the service and food, will go back again.

I’ve been to layalina a couple of times now and it’s been amazing every time. Went a couple nights ago with some friends and we had a lovely time. Every dish was beautifully prepared and it tasted amazing. Lovely staff too. Can’t wait to come back!

Most overpriced restaurant in all of Melbourne. A side of shredded chicken was $36 on top. I ordered chicken shish, it came with 80% rice and 1 and a half skewers. Extortion is the only word I can use to describe what these guys are doing

Poor service, no English speakers to understand worse Egyptian food I have ever tasted in my life, waited over 50 min for entree to be served, half was served and after another 50 minutes main were served and the other half of entree still not served, finally after 2 hours and 40 min, we received the reminder of entree, which was totally disgusting

Good food, but come hungry because portions are generous, but long time waiting for meals.
Attention to detail needed. For example; we had to ask for side plates and serviettes when they brought out entrè.

I ordered Creamy garlic prawns. The taste was good and ambience was too. A lil bit pricy I guess but overall it was good. Its HALAL so recommended

Tried a variety of vegetarian options and all were delicious! Will definitely be returning. Great service also.

The food and Shisha is amazing. The service is worthless. The staff is very rude. We had booked a table for 6. We were not given water nor plates for sharing. We had to wait for 30 mins for the water and plates to arrive. When asked for a coal change on the shisha and had to wait 40 mins and yet not changed. We asked the cashier if the manager is there and they said "we do not have a manager". But a manager was present and had come to our table later. I would recommend to go another place for shisha if you want to be heard and for a good service.

One of the best restaurants in Melbourne. I felt really welcomed by their friendly staff and the food was like a warm hug. Definitely visiting again.

Our first time trying Egyptian food. Was not disappointed in the least. Amazing food, including what was quite possibly the best falafel I've ever had. Lovely service as well!

We tried Musakah Tagean and Kushari and it was delicious! Authentic middle eastern food. Highly recommended!

I have been to many restaurants before around the world and a restaurant like Leyalina i have never seen before.having a very delicious food and an extraordinary coffee with shisha. But the very special thing you find there is the sense you get of being between your family and the owners themselves sit, chat and make jokes with you
They even join u for a shisha or food
I would give it 6 out of 5 totally recommended for everyone
