I visit Leffler every time I go to Melbourne. They have a huge range of leathers. The shelves can be pretty disorganised in places and there is some rather ancient stock that should probably be moved - especially in the buckles area. Despite this, I always find more to buy that I went to get. It's always a bit of an adventure and I enjoy my visits

Huge variety of stock, slightly friendly staff but ONLY if you know them. I'm quite amused by it, though the reality is they're not friendly, though most of their business is wholesale so I'm sure they're great there.

Definitely the place to go to for leather craft supplies in Melbourne, I'm yet to find any other store that can compare to their range. However I've never in my many visits had a positive experience with staff. None of them seem the slightest bit motivated and make it feel as though processing your transaction is a burden.

Been buying their leather and supplies for 14 years, always polite and helpful and i received two hides today that was the best quality i have seen so far no marks and beautiful.these are my products.

I walked in not knowing much about leather working other than I wanted to try it out. Russell was very helpful, not to mention patient. He gave me a crash course in picking hides and put together a nice starter package for me.
He and Paul have also helped me out with some advice over the phone, all in all, great service. I'll definitely be coming back for more supplies.
