I'm pretty new to leatherworking. But went into leffler today and had heaps of help from a gentleman named Phil. He was really friendly and enthusiastic about helping me out and didn't make me feel like I was asking silly questions. Thank mate

I was skiing in Canada last April 2022 and purchased a vintage pair of snowshoes. There were no bindings attached and so, 9 months later I went to Lefflers in West Melbourne to source some leather pieces to make my own bindings. I looked at many online images for bindings and went ahead. Lefflers saved me $$$$ by having the leather and accessories to make my bindings. I am very pleased with the outcome and more than happy with the guidance and advice given to me by the Lefflers floor and counter staff. I hope you enjoy my photos.

Shocking service, spoke with tech dept (older man) who said they new nothing about produces and has never used or seen it used, Rude on phone with a "couldn't Care attitude". REALLY? OMG

Visited here for the first time on Friday. I declared early I was a complete novice. Without patronising me or up-selling me anything i walked out with more knowledge and $13.50 worth of leather and fasteners to provide me with the minimum of what I needed to do. Great advice too!

Excellent quality and range. Everything you'll need for leatherwork, great prices too. I've been a customer of theirs since they were down in South Melbourne and they just keep getting better. More vegan stuff is good too for the increasing demand from my customers.

I started working with leather when I was young working with my father in the shoe shop. After my father passed away and life moved on I forgot about the pleasure that I get from working with leather and creating useful long lasting products. Leffler served us very well 20 years ago and I found that the service is still excellent the people great and the product range extensive. Overall very happy to be working with leather and working with the wonderful people from leffler and sons again.

I always come away with what I need when I shop at this store. There are many different products and the staff are helpful. It helps if you know what you are looking for, otherwise the range and the expanse of the warehouse is overwhelming and the questions that shoppers may ask can be self-explanatory. Try them it is the largest store of its kind in Victoria.

Am a business owner and Customer with an account for 40+ years. We no longer are eligible for the monthtly discounts due to sales rep's lack to provide one complete order in over 5 months, hence obliging us to cease orders and find alternate suppliers.

I know leffler has a monopoly in this area but they're cistomer service has become VERY VERY appauling in last few years.

I've been learning to make shoes and the staff here have been beyond helpful and gone out of their way to help me. I've been using them in conversation lately as an example of how to be awesome at customer service.

My friend and I went to Leffler leather in West Melbourne today to buy some cowhide for some chairs. The bloke who served us was a bloody joke, he gave us the impression that he just couldn't be bothered, he was rude and in personable, he couldn't be stuffed basically. So they lost a $500 sale that we have now spent elsewhere. Thanks for your lousy service Leffler Leather.
