Laneway 73 Cafe Anglesea

While in Anglesea, we frequented this bar a few times. The espresso is done well. The canolli are made with pastry cream.

Amazing coffee, best cannoli ever, great crostoli biscuits. Unfortunately I could never get a table during my stay in the area.
Get up early and you will be fine.

Go there for beautiful home made Italian cakes and service by staff that love their job! Cool place!

Firstly, the guy making coffees and taking orders was highly energetic, very friendly and obviously runs the place.
Food was ok. Ordered an egg & bacon roll & it came out very quickly, but it seemed like the bacon & egg was precooked, and the roll warmed up. It tasted ok but not as fresh as I would expect.
The photo of the menu online is not correct - they don't do eggs on toast, just the bacon & egg roll.

BEST COFFEE ON THE SURF COAST
A trip along the surf coast cannot start without a coffee here.it's a must! It doesn't matter what you order, it's all great, especially the Magic (a test for any barista). Pastries are to die for.
And to top it all off, the owner is one of the great characters that makes you smile everytime. Damn he works hard, but always smiles and jokes.

Friendly staff, great attention to detail, coffee quality excellent. Pastries fantastic. Very highly recommend, do it!

I have high expectations when it comes to cannoli, I have been burnt by many that claim to be "great".

Look I'm not going to lie I was sceptical, but these cannoli were fabulous!

Definitely top 2 in my opinion.

They were creamy, and not overly sweet, so eating 3 was a piece of cake the shell was crisp and firm, but did not crumble.
And value, 3 for $10 is a great deal especially when you can eat them in a blink of an eye.
The owner was nice and generous with his time for us and is a great bloke.

The only regret I have is I didn't grab a coffee, but we can do that next time.

Situated in the Anglesea shopping centre, this cafe offers breakfast and light lunches.
The service was friendly and helpful, with prompt delivery of food ordered.
I ordered the baked egg dish which was so delicious and filling.

Was busy so went to another for coffee. They had about 20 people waiting at the time. Purely a timing thing with us as we couldn't wait.

Nice customer service, when they hand you the wrong takeaway food, you return it for the correct order and you hear the short bald fella yelling get stuffed for being delayed in picking it up. Then proceed to tell you that you were the one that took the other food by accident when it was one of their staff members that put it in your hand after you repeated the name on the order. Good work guys.

I was looking for gluten free options (I'm coeliac) and was very pleased to come across this place and its sandwiches/rolls. Excellent service and they take extra care to avoid cross contamination.

Always busy but our friends know the owners and they always find a seat for us! Had an iced dirty chai that was the perfect ratio of coffee to chai. I would recommend the canollis

Fantastic service with great humor served with every coffee. Definitely a place to visit if you are ever in the area. Good luck resisting their sweets!

Laneway 73 has the most immaculate high energy atmosphere. I was thoroughly entertained by the antics of the wait staff, and felt right at home. The food was scrumptious, and the double shot espresso was rich and full of flavour. Highly reccommend! Bravo.

There is no better place in area for morning coffee and sweet cheat than here…
Been in Anglesea 3th time and this place is on “must do” every single time…
The ambience, taste, energy is just what you need in the morning…
If you staying or driving by, absolutely worth to stop by.

Striking lil cafe in Anglesea.and what character! We were returning to d city from Wye River n badly needed a coffee.most places close by 4pm.found this store front with upbeat music n ppl queuing up for coffee n pastries. Mr. Tomahawk was dishing out coffees, with exceptional speed n rhythm.customising to perfection.and with such aplomb! He made us the finest Latte, not gonna forget ever ️

We had one of the best pizzas here at this lovely, cosy cafe - fresh, delicious and clearly made with love. Great service, and friendly staff.

Owner is a real character! Toasted paninis with two eggs and Bacon with home made relish very tasty. Great coffee too.

Went back a few times during our weeks stay. Coffee was amazing! Food was good too - kids loved the fresh muffins. The baristas energy is contagious, funny bloke! Would def recommend
