Lan Coffee Thornbury 岚

We recently moved to Thornbury and tried a number of coffee places before settling on Lan Coffee as our local. This is the best coffee you will find in Thornbury in our opinion (the best coffee we have had in Melbourne actually) and the staff are super sweet and friendly. Highly recommend.

Best Coffee in Thornbury! Always has a fresh selection of interesting coffees, the baristas are very knowledgable and passionate about sourcing and serving the best products. The café has a great atmosphere and the food is excellent.

I just got a coffee from here this morning, walked outside and accidentally dropped it. I walked back into the throw the empty cup in the bin and buy another one and they gave me a whole new one for free! The staff are super kind, and the coffee is delicious.

Top class cafe. 5 star coffee, modern beautiful interiors and a mouth watering Asian menu. I had the Okonomiyaki and it was incredible.

Great coffee and food with a Japanese influence. On the quieter side of High Street, so you might miss it. I recommend the eggs benedict on pulled pork.

Now that Melbourne is back open, I highly recommend this place for brunch! Not many people seem to know it's here cos it's not busy at the moment.which is perfect for the 1.5m rule as we get our nerve for crowds back. The food and coffee is excellent, love the hint of Japan in their menu.

Not only does this place do great coffee & tasty treats, they are so lovely & have amazing covid safe procedures.

These guys make the best oat flat white going around in Thornbury! The lovely staff here are so friendly to every customer and they put so much care and attention into every coffee. The hardest thing about wearing a mask is that now I need to wait until I get home until I can drink my delicious takeaway coffee:)

Simply put, attentive service and delicious food. The ambiance and diverse menu are an added bonus. Will definitely be my go to brunch place!

Specialty coffee and seasonal dishes in a minimalist cafe with good ambiance. Great coffee in Thornbury. To top it off the breakfasts were absolutely superb, juices were delicious and coffee was just right. Highly recommended Lan Coffee Thornbury

Warm, pleasant, friendly and efficient service, they know their local regular patrons.

Great coffee shop! The staff are not only very friendly but super knowledgeable and love sharing that knowledge about the beans and different brewing methods. Had a great double espresso while there and also took away some beans for pour over which are brewing very well this morning
