LaManna Supermarket

Wow this place has grown hugely! Still same great fresh products and very competitive vs the big supermarkets. Only gripes are that it's so busy now parking can be an issue and walking about due to so many people. Secondly there are not really signs on each isle listing what's there so navigation can be a bit hit miss.

Great selection of produce and wine. It's a shame checkout lady Billie didnt appreciate me interrupting her conversation with her bestie. Didnt even get a hello without a prompt.is it because I'm a mature Male gentleman?

I recently visited LaManna with a friend for the first time and could readily see why it's so popular. It's certainly a convenient one-stop supermarket as it seems to have everything and there's a big range with lot of well stocked choices from staple groceries, in-house baked bread, cakes, tarts and pastries, rozen goods, fruit & vegetables, seafood, meat, poultry, sausages, deli, cheese and platters, milk, eggs, liquor, confectionery, toiletries, takeaway and read-to-cook meals, fresh flower, health & beauty, pet food, and so on. The prices seemed higher than at the larger chains but the range of products is certainly far more extensive. One of the signs on the building reads "a new kind of supermarket". Well I have to agree with this and while the regulars might take this for granted, another thing that impressed me is how massive and spacious it is with lots of aisle space for shopping trolleys. The space is certainly noticeable and makes for a much more pleasant shopping experience. Perhaps in it's heyday the building was a massive aircraft hanger or the airport's logistics/administration area. There's also plenty of parking and great arterial connection. I just have to give it 5 stars.

I'm from the Gold Coast, when in Melbourne this is my first place to visit, not only Wine, beer, spirits, but you will never find as great a range of cheeses as available here.
Nothing here is cheap, but then again there are some bargains to be found.
The best supermarket in Australia, something and more for everyone.

The cafe is completely hectic. Ordered take away sandwiches and had to ask twice before they checked and apologized as they didn't put the order through. Avoiding coming back here again.

Love the variety. Whoever their purchaser is deserves praise. Best food range and great little Cafe on site.

Ordered my wedding cake here and the staff are great - go above and beyond and even helped design my dream cake. THANK YOU

My companions and I enjoyed our food at the Hungry Fox Cafe.

One oddity I found was the waitress's view of hygiene. She placed my bottle of drink on the table. Then she placed my straw next to it. Why would I place my lips on something she has just rolled over the table!? ! Not very thoughtful.

Another thing that was odd was that they placed two young ethnic males on the table next to ours. All we could hear was a nasally ''erh, erh, erh, fully sik! " We had to actually leave the venue without dessert so we could continue our conversation. Maybe place the rabble away from others and not virtually on top off other guest so we can continue participating in our conversation!? !

Great concept store. Lots of produce variety, may not be the most competitive pricing but probably because it's quality produce.
The staff are very polite, nice and friendly. Even insisted on packing my shopping for me.

Please keep your fruit and vegetables as good as they used to be. Feel like the brand has expanded and fruit and veg might start to suffer with quality.

The cafe is great and the service is always great.

Fantastic supermarket - very high quality produce. It's like if specialist greengrocers, butchers, bakers, cafe and general store decided to get together and form a supermarket.

LaManna is fantastic. I have been shopping here since it opened. The seafood, meat & produce in particular are amazing. I only buy my seafood from LaManna as it is super fresh and there is a lot to choose from. They offer a huge variety of fruit & vegetables and there are some things I can find at LaManna and no where else in Melbourne. Floor & checkout staff are very friendly & helpful. I’m giving this review a 4 because customer service desk staff can get a bit overwhelmed and it shows in their interactions with customers. Also, it would be good if they could cut down on their use of plastic.

Easy parking, friendly staff, love the flowers and the deli. One stop to get everything. A little pricy but best quality in everything

I was curious so made the trip
I've given two stars as the use of plastic was inexcusable.
Given other majors have done away with this waste, I was surprised.
The quality was good but prices were reflective.

I like the place, and their set-up but it is so damn overpriced.

It was very dificult to find any value for money items.

Not recommended for family shopping.

Very clean, well stocked. The in house bakery is amazing. The fresh produce is by far the freshest in the area. Well worth the visit.

Great food and coffee. Can get busy, so may be difficult getting a seat. Exceptional produce/grocery.

Great supermarket with a great range that sources its fresh produce from our aussie farmers.

There Deli and cheese section has a great variety to choose from I wanted it all. (anything you need you can find)

There is a cake shop at the back where u can also order custom cakes.

Downside is it can be quite expensive.

Now that is a supermarket. Anything you want is here and all fresh. A little on the pricie side but worth it all.
