43Great walks around the lake. Check out the wild bird life and the baby ducks. Food vans available, drink fountains available incl.for dogs. Rowing and Kayaks on the lake. Playgrounds for children. Great park.
The park needs alot of repair work done to it! We went their today for the first time in over 5 years and the wood is all rooten and very water damaged. Their was work man their repairing the bridge part but I found that to be damages as they were cutting wood ect would have been much safer to have just closed the park. Their is lost of shade around though to side down have some lunch and relax my kids also loved the ducks and that they could watch the turtles from the bridge
Great place for a quick walk, play etc. Lots of friendly dogs who have it seems respectful owners who pick up their droppings. Interesting wildlife including lots of waterfowl and big long necked turtles that are excellent to have a look at, about 1500m around with a well lit, trip free path way, well worth a visit for a bit of exercise.
