Lake Weeroona Playspace

Always enjoy our evening walks and kids love the playground. Plenty of park seating and tables in nice park garden setting

Lovely place for all ages,
playground spaced a bit, then there are areas to sit & some shelters with tables too, many people walk around the lake, often see ducks & many other water birds here, swans, water-hens etc. Parking, toilets also Disability toilets, often Food vans for drinks & snacks.
Family friendly atmosphere.

Nice large lake to walk around for exercise. Large playground for the kids. Lots of benches and shaded grass to relax on

Lake Weeroona was lovely this evening. Shame no upkeep for our four l friends. One drink fountain been broken all through covid and no doggie bags for at least six months. Take my own but some need an extra.

Awesome for kids, due for a bit of a refurbishment on some of the equipment but very acceptable

Pleasant lake with many black swans. Great for walking. Playground is very big. Kids would love it.

It is not old people home. That some people say. You have good time there and you play pool and have fun with other people.

Just walking past for a hotdog. Used to take my daughter there. Kids have fun. Dads aren't as young as they thought.

Lake Weeroona is a wonderful place to take your kids to enjoy the playground or to catch up with friends for exercise and or a bite and a beverage.

Beautiful setting ~ safe environment for the kids ~ tables nearby with barbecue facilities. Great place for the whole family.

Dropped by on the way home and used the facilities which seemed reasonably clean. Family friendly with lots of people out enjoying themselves trying to breathe fresh air which is hard when you are wearing something that is preventing that. Today I tried the hot jam donuts which I must admit was delicious and soft so will definitely buy them when I go past again.nice place to have a break for some fun, relaxation and be alive by being outside in the sun amongst other people, mother nature and father time semi freely.

With the family on a very hot day. First time in Bendigo, usually just drive past on the way to Echuca. Caught up with friends for a fish and chips dinner at the Lake. The park kept my young grandkids amused for over 2 hours and Lake Weeroona was stunning in the sunlight.

A nice tranquil park for walking laps around the lake. Plenty of shade trees and places to watch the bird life. Added bonus of coffee van and lots of parking.

Beautiful parklands around a muddy looking lake, walking trails, seating, undercover areas, playground, toilets, BBQs, shady trees for picnics- you must bring a rug to avoid duckpoo tho. There's a cafe & across the road a great fish n chips shop that's has genuine GF meals. Worth a visit definitely, it's even on the tourist tram line

Feed the ducks. Kids can go on the play ground and something else is Australia day Monday same thing going on here

Beautiful family friendly lake. Coffee van with great coffee:) Perfect place to walk or just relax by the water. Picnic shelters and good size playground.

Awesome playground for the kids, coffee van for the adults. Playground is fenced with childproof gates to help keep the kids safely away from the lake.

Fun playground, fenced with places for parents to sit. Usually has a coffee truck near by. Toilets also.

Great park, lots of facilities to utilise. Playground is a bit worn and really needs a good clean or update, but my daughter loves it. Toilets were very clean. Grass was beautiful and green, not patchy. Only thing lacking is parking but in the area it's located not much can really be done about that.

Love it. But needing a lot of repairs now. Kids and adults starting to trip over rotting and crumbling surfaces.
