Not sure why but when trying to call it hangs up on me without getting through? Can't book an.appointment online either when I choose the one option of flu vaccination which I don't want but is the only choice given all the doctors become unavailable I just want to go to the doctor but it's literally not possible

Absolutely rude, Dr lamb, didnt want to take the rime to check and transfer medical file over.firat and last vist, avoid if tou are a new patient, very rude Dr

Staff is very friendly and helpful.

I just want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at this clinic. Special thanks to Dr Michael, Dr Edward Lam, Dr Rafiq, Nurse Judy, Megan and Ivana. They have been so kind, funny and understanding. All the doctors are very professional, knowledgeable and understanding. The receptionists here are probably the nicest receptionists you will ever find. There were times that I was running late or I had to reschedule but they are always very understanding and they have great phone communication skills! They were also so helpful in squeezing a quick apt when there’s availability for me to get my medical certificate or referral letter. I usually get it in my email within 5 mins after talking to the doctor. Judy did my Covid jab twice and I barely felt anything. And this is coming from a person who scream and flinch every single time I get needles lol. Oh and thanks Megan and Ivana for bringing us forward for the vaccination spots when there’s cancellations. Really appreciate that?
I have been attending this clinic since I started at LaTrobe. And it’s been 6-7 years since. Even when I moved to Horsham then moved to Doncaster, I ALWAYS drive back to the same clinic because the staff here are just amazing. I have managed to convert my partner to come here as well He now won’t go anywhere just like me

I went there today for the first time and after my next appointment I will not return
After I saw the doctor I left not too fazed about the clinic, typical of how you’re treat now in the system, but when I got home and looked at my medical certificate they had spelt my name wrong, looked at my immunisation list and again my name is wrong, called and asked them to fix the mistake and reissue a medical certificate, 5 hours later I saw I had just missed a call from them, call back and they have my email address wrong, then I receive an email from them about downloading an appointment app, no amended medical certificate, have to call back again, finally everything is correct pretty shocking for information that is so important

Your experience with this clinic will vary wildly depending on who you see, which is not ideal.

Farid Alam is fantastic. He is extremely thorough and empathetic, and is exactly what you need in a GP. Sadly, he is in high-demand, and his scrupulous nature means he is always running late. Be prepared to wait upwards of 30 minutes to see him.

I have only seen Edward Lam once, but he was very efficient and kind.

Rafiq is a horrible doctor. I came in with a very badly blocked ear, and was halfway through explaining my issue when he started filling up the syringe with water. The hot water wasn't working, but rather than try to remedy that, he proceeded with cold water. For those who don't know, your inner ears are very sensitive, and cold water makes you extremely dizzy. After he had washed my ears out (and my head felt like it was spinning for several minutes), he asked if I had any water left in my ears. I said that I did and he said (word for word) : "I think you are mistaken". Not the attitude you want from a doctor at all.

The resident psychologist is also terrible. In my first appointment he talked about himself constantly and was actively disinterested in the issues that I brought to him. I left and immediately cried in my car at how frustratingly incompetent he was. He was self-centred, arrogant and disinterested - all traits that everyone can agree are not helpful in a psychologist.

The staff at the desk are always helpful and friendly.

I'm giving it 4 stars because Farid is fantastic, and Edward seemed excellent too. If it were possible, I would give specifically the psychologist and Rafiq 1 star.

Judy is a star. Having always had needle anxiety my recent vaccine injections were a breeze thanks to Judy

I’ve seen Dr Alam twice now and he’s been nothing but professional! It’s the first time I’ve felt properly listened to by a medical professional. He was attentive and wanted to cover all possibilities to ensure I was getting the appropriate care. He was also very friendly and you could tell he genuinely wanted to help! 10/10 would see again

It is so rude doctors in this clinic, they will not do any things to treat you or make you better.what they said to the patient always are same and helpless.
I’v been there several times because it is easy to get appointment there but then I recognize why it’s easy to get appointment in this clinic. I never ever go there again because the doctor I met was so rude and never hear to you to treat you well.

Hopefully this issue will be fix soon and this clinic can get better review.

Had a 4: 30pm appointment to see a doctor didnt get in untill 4: 55pm. 5 minutes into the consultation the doctor told me he has to stop because they close at 5pm.

Very discouraging for me especially when they're trying to encourage men to go and get check ups.

Care factor zero absolute disgrace. I'n my opinion it dosnt even deserve a 1 star.

The worst experience at the doctors that I have ever had. I cannot speak for the professionalism of the other doctors but Dr Yuen was incredibly rude and condescending and I would never recommend his services to another patient.

I only go here because you can get an appointment easily and they are quick to write medical certificates. Doctors here are hit and miss, I wouldn't recommend taking the risk if you're in a potentially serious condition. Best doctor I've had here still gave me a script for antibiotics without telling me why. Worst doctor I've had here (recently) focused all his effort on telling me I don't have corona, how not to spread corona, protect your elderly friends and family from corona, don't go to parties or you'll get corona, yada yada yada. Did not tell me what is actually going on with me, eventually told me it /might/ be a cold or flu without offering any further advice.

I have been a patient on and off at this Clinic for numerous years now - my original Doctor was Dr Moffitt for over ten years but unfortunately he kept moving around so much it became more difficult to make appointments and to be honest the places he chose to work were not that welcoming - I decided to return to Latrobe Medical Clinic and have had no regrets whatsoever - I see the most wonderful Dr Farid Alam (this may sound bias but I feel he is the best Doctor there) - but do not get me wrong I have had the opportunity having been treated by the other Doctors there also and found them to be good listeners and not in a rush to “move you on” for their next patient waiting. Nurse Judy is the best - she is always welcoming and up for a chat with you as are all the staff on Reception. You do not feel like “just a number” when you are there - their welcome is sincere and I find them all just lovely people. I will always continue to attend this Clinic as even in an emergency they bend over backwards to get you in to see a Doctor and everything is there if you need to have blood tests, x-rays, scans etc - definitely 5+ Stars from me - I always leave satisfied and with a smile.

Every staff member I came into contact with, was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to explain things and make sure I was comfortable. BRAVO
Dr. Edward lam Is one of the greatest doctors there. He not only takes his time dealing with your situation, he runs through everything considering all options to find the right one for you! I would highly recommend him for any type of mens sexual health.
Amazing from start to finish.

The only place that has ever taken my mum's health seriously; we've been attending latrobe now since January 2019 and honestly in 15 years they have been the only clinic to help and take our health seriously. Special shout out to the lovely reception staff (particularly Meghan) who's understanding and quick action have potentially saved a life. So much gratitude ️

I originally got my immunisation documents signed by my family doctor, who incorrectly filled it out and also made me get vaccines I didn't need to get, and at the wrong times therefore costing me excess money. Judy was so helpful, she fixed everything for me, signed the forms correctly, went above and beyond as to call up necessary organisations and sort out immunisations that weren't fully processed, obtaining other records and clarifying what I needed/didn't need. She reassured me, remained very transparent and honest, and earned my trust as one of the only nurses I trust with immunisations! She is amazing!

Receptionist wouldn't let me talk to the Dr. Regarding blood results from hospital. He used to work near my area and now had moved to LTU medical centre which is too far to see him. I didn't know that he had left the old clinic. If he were still stayed at his old clinic, the staff there are much more helpful and would put me on hold to talk to the Dr. Whereas this lady suggested me to go to another doctor. Receptionist is really bad.

Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect by multiple gp's. Not only that I was given factually inaccurate medical information regarding medication and had days wasted by them running me around with false assurances.

Wasted my time, never going there again. Appointment at 10: 15, was there 5 min earlier, 2 people came a while after me and still got seen by the gp before me. I waited for 35 minutes past the appointment time, I go to the receptionist and she says, sorry I'll cancel the appointment for you. No discussions. If I could give it -5 stars, I would. Never again.

If I could give a minus review I would! Absolutely disgusting! We waited an hour and a half past appointment time only to be told it's cash only. When we said oh we saw a sign saying card accepted the doctor aggressively said don't argue and shook his hands. He also really aggressively tapped my partner's head where needed to be examined to the point I heard the contact on the hit on his skull and my partner had to pull away in pain. Very terrible service awful mannered doctor! If you want to be treated well don't see dr boon hong. So the waiting room was disgusting! Some kind of yellow splatter on the hand sanitizer and wall. Such poor hygiene.
