Extremely disappointed! Have supported you for many years, summer, winter and specially over the Covid period.
Last night our family booked a table for 8 as we normally do.
We ordered 2x seafood platters, entrees, mains bottles of sparkling, wine and soft drinks.
Everything came at once.
Our entrees and mains; one staff member had to add an extra table to ours due to the amount of food ordered. We got together to celebrate the New Year.here is where you guys lost us.
Within 3 minutes of everything arriving at our table, we we’re constantly hounded by more than 3 staff members asking if we wanted take away containers.
We then decided to pay our bill (which was very high) and leave.
You will not see us again. Summer is great for business specially after so many lockdowns, but mistreating the locals will only result in a very cold winter.

Nice food, generously portioned and reasonably priced. Not sure why the floor staff are a bit edgy though

La Forgetta!
Had a booking for 6pm and we taken up stairs to be seated, ordered our drinks and 9 meals (4 adults & 5 kids).
No food appeared until 7: 10pm and it wasn’t until 7: 40 that the last of our meals hit the table.
All but one of the meals was cold.
One meal was not what we ordered.
The ceiling fans were on so hard that I couldn’t put pepper on my meal (which they messed up) as the fans literally blew it away before it could hit the plate.
Empty tables around us remained uncleared for the 2 hours + we were there.
We asked for the kids ice creams to be brought out and were told by the waiter they’d come up straight away.
After 15mins we politely asked where the ice creams were and the waitress was very short with us and quite snappy.
She said that’s they usually have people go down and choose their ice cream and don’t take ice cream orders from the table.
She said we need to be more patient and that they (the wait staff) were doing their best.
We mentioned that we had arrived for dinner at 6pm and it was now 8pm and that really wasn’t acceptable.
Again the waiter said we should be more patient.
Other patrons who arrived after us got up and left because they didn’t get their meals within an acceptable time frame.
All the staff seemed frazzled and confused despite the restaurant being only half filled.
Definitely was our last meal there!
Disappointing at such bad customer service and the quality of the meals were extremely poor.

Very busy but was served graciously and they even managed to offer to squeeze us in for dining. However, we ordered takeaway pizzas, chips and garlic bread. Very pleasantly surprised at the delicious pizza, best I have had in a very long time. The chips were fries, which, although nice on their own, didn't really suit the meal. The garlic bread was also good but needed a little more cooking and was on the small side. All together a little pricy but the food and service was good and will definitely be back. Thanks guys!

Very disappointed with the customer service here, ordered food twice and twice it was wrong. After 2 hours of waiting left without eating. Dissatisfied to say the least, disappointed for La Porchetta in Rosebud.

Been eating at La Porchetta since day one.
It started out as a modest pizza restaurant in Carlton by previous owners.i have always stuck to the super special. The flavour has changed from back then but still a great homely and cheap restaurant

It was ok, staff were amicable. Food was fine, this is our quick in and out option for kids as service is fast.

A cold rainy day and la porchetta brought back memories! And their GF pizza brought the biggest smile to my 6yo newly coeliac nieces face!

Pizzas and arancini were alright, thick crust and lots of topping so portion is good though we prefer the think crust type. We had the pineapple pizza and seafood pizza and got delivery. Waiting time is not long so that’s a plus!

Pizza was ok at best. Mozzarella cheese was still uncooked and not melted. Asked for Pizza Sauce on top and was slugged an extra $1.50 for that even though they didn't put it on top.

Overall for a $24.90 Large Pizza it was quite disappointing.

Terrible experience. Bought takeaway and found hairballs on my tortellini. When we took it back the staff member accused us of putting it there and refused to offer a full refund as we 'chose to eat' some of the food. Never had such a terrible dining experience.

Ordered last night we spent over $200, pizza was good, but seriously I ordered the veal parmigiana with chips with gravy and a side serve of salad, first the fries still half frozen and soggy with no crisp at all, the Parma dry overcooked and chewy, the gravy a half attempt at thickening beef stack with flour lumps included, all this for $31.90 mmm yum, but let’s not forget the salad which was an extra $8.90, included 2 wedges of tomato, 2 slithers of cucumber, 3 olives, no onion, lettuce dripping with too much dressing and wait oh yeh some kind of bug attached to the core bit of my lettuce which was only spotted when almost in my mouth pics to follow, then to top it off they forget my wife’s pasta and when we called them were advised we had to go pick it up otherwise would be up to an hour which is totally unacceptable as this was the first time in ages we had family over at my house and decided to treat everyone with Italian cuisine, thanks lamporchetta for ruining mine and my wife’s dinner, as this will be the last time we order from here I could care less what you think of my review, also if you’re of average intelligence don’t order the meatballs for $25 or the spaghetti bolognese for $25 it’s such a rip off, think pack spaghetti less than $2,250g good quality beef mince $3, pasta sauce and Parmesan cheese, $3, wow

Pizza is one of my favourite meals and this La Porchetta is only about a 5 minute walk away situated in a small group of shops. You may think it wouldn't be that great but honestly I've never had a bad pizza from there. It's a double story restaurant with tables outside and it can be busy Friday and Saturday nights but I've never waited long for my order. Very fair pricing and other stuff on the menu including pasta. Directly opposite the beach so you can eat your take away pizza with a view of the water, I recommend this restaurant.

Best place to go we've been there heaps quality is always great and waiting staff are awesome GO THERE you won't regret it

Went here for dinner and had a really poor experience. Firstly, my glass was dirty when I sat down, then the plate they gave me for entree was dirty. I ordered a medium ribeye steak and received a fatty bit of steak with a small bone in it. Then got ripped of at the till. Really poor. Would not recommend

First time trying this place this past weekend. Ordered 1 serving of Carbonara and it made my kids violently ill throughout the night, obviously using ingredients that are well expired.will never eat here again

Gnocchi was lovely, great flavour, creamy sauce, large serving, value for money.

Very noisy environment.
No great for sensory people.

I'm so glad this place is still here all these years.

Nice staff but they where unusually light on the cheese. About 20% of what is usually there and caused the pizza to fall apart. I'm sure it was a once off.
