Absolutely disgusting!
Ordered a tortellini mushroom and it was swimming in oil. Absolutely putrid.

I used to work here back from june 2021 - march 2022 and all i can say is it was absolutely disgusting.i was 15 at the time i was working, when i turned 16 in november, i didn’t get a pay rise, i asked my manager when i would and she told me that in australia you don’t get a pay rise until you’re 18.i knew this was false due to me also having another job at the time.i was provided with little training at the beginning and basically had to train myself on what to do.i can assure you that every other waitress would have the same problem.majority of my shifts would only be 2 hours long and i would never have a break.the management behind this company is disgusting.i ended up getting fired because i didn’t show up to ONE of my shifts, reasoning being because i was in hospital.i felt extremely unwanted and cared for.i was never given payslips, as they would only be given out on sundays on paper.i remember back in february 2021 my pay was 3 weeks overdue because the accountant went on a holiday to india.extremely unprofessional.i would not suggest anyone to work here ever.i don’t know how they are still in business.disgusting.

Disappointed is an understatement

Food was slow, overpriced, and disgusting.came here for lunch with friends to celebrate our graduation, the place was empty, and it still took a half hour to get our order taken.when the food came, two of our meals were wrong, and the food was undercooked.the wine is cheap but sold like it's expensive and tastes watered down.most of us ended up getting sick afterward, except for our friend that only had a salad.we will not be coming back.

I made an account just to warn everyone about this place, honestly every time this place makes a meal, it commits a hate crime. Id rather sit in hunger then accept food from this place. All the 5 star ratings are paid actors.

We love this humble little place. Decor is simple but clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, easy to hear conversation over dinner. The wait staff are always so friendly and efficient. Food is really delicious.great pizza and pasta!

Food is always great at La Porchetta but service was lack luster. Server got frustrated with me because they couldn't calculate 5% off bill (for cash) and walked away leaving it to someone else.

It was freezing cold. Food not bad but waited a least 40 minutes for a chocolate mousse. When asked where it was, staff reply was we are under staffed. We are needing to get to a show. She wasnt interested that. Staff weren't interested in clearing tables either. Walking back to kitchen empty handed.

NO STARS! Ordered online, given wrong order. Took it back and waited for correct order to find that I was charge 3 times for one order. Very difficult to get refund - still waiting.

Utterly disappointed in the service here, we regularly order the Snitzels which we love, but tonight when I placed a phone order for pick up, the girl taking my order obviously had no experience or training. She asked me 3 times what my order was, she got it wrong 2 out of the 3 times, I spelt name out to her & told her my phone number slowly but she also got both of them wrong.
She repeated the order the last time & I said yes that's correct & she went to hang up without telling me how long.
We waited the half an hour & went in to pick up our order to find that half of our order didn't go through, I ordered 2 Snitzel & they only made one. The lady (possibly manager) was apologetic & offered to push another one through quickly but still would have to wait (probably) 15-20 mins while the other snitzel & chips sat there & went cold. We ended up asking for our money back & left.
I know hospitality is struggling but if you can't train your staff properly or try to fix a problem when it occurs, like offering to replace full meal for free, then you can only expect poor reviews & losing regular locals.

This place is horrible food is disgusting incompetent staff, ordered main and dessert together and they come back while your eating and ask if U want dessert, DO NOT EAT HERE

They don’t pay people correctly under the hospitality award, don’t give people the minimum hour shifts required under the hospitality award. Trying to be cheap as possible by cutting corners with their staff and treating them horribly

Very disappointing. Food was delivered cold. Side of vegetables drowned in mixed herbs & ridiculously over priced.

Won't order from here again & will be telling everyone about this experience.

Ordered uber eats, the delivery was fast and on time and the food was terrible. Chicken Parma was well and truly over cooked and cold. Had the american pizza which was dry and cold.
Called them and they tried to throw it on uber eats straight away. Didn't even eat it a waste of $90.
Will never be ordering la Por-shitta again

Good service, excellent value and tasty food. Mind though they prefer cash, they charge more if you're paying with card.

Normally it's good.
But tonight we were all extremely disappointed.
They had know idea what they were doing.
We had six people at our table, our first meal was brought out fairly quick, but we then waited over an hour & 15 minutes for the rest, and the food definitely wasn't to there normal standards.
We even waited 50 minutes for 6 drinks.

Got food from here and it was the worst food ever, pizza was cold and terrible, pasta was very average, will never get from there again

Had a very nice meal. Had to settle for the fish as the chicken breast had been marinated in Turmeric, not a favourite of mine. Disappointed that I didn’t have a choice. Waitresses were very polite & helpful. The chips were under cooked. Very nice glass of wine though!
The take away pizza was pretty good.

Booked using their website. It said i had a booking. Rocked up to be told that they were fully booked AND "the online booking service doesn't work"!
Effing disappointed and miffed off. Never again

Just got back from La Porchetta, as always, food was, but on a side note, just wanted to give our waitress a good review, super friendly, both my partner and I, enjoyed her service, just wished we got her name, also we put that 10bucks in the jar for you, wouldve been more but you guyz don't do cash out.
