La Porchetta Niddrie reviews
63Sorry, quite disappointed. Pasta all tasted the same and underseasoned. Mostly indifferent service. Pizza base doughy, toppings just serviceable and not particularly fresh.
Great family pizza location. They have amazing selections to choose from and that includes wine's and beers.
A good family Restaurant where you can indulge in a Variety of delicious dishes which have made La Porchetta known and famous for.
The service staff is very attentive and friendly.
Absolutely amazing service from Bella and Kira. They took care of us exceptionally well ensuring our food arrived on time and to our satisfaction. The food was delicious. The rooftop dining is awesome and highly recommended. Thank you once again
I went here for a work function and the food was spectacular. Bella and Kira (i believe) provided brilliant service. And didn't judge for my awkward eating habits
Good freshly cooked meals with plenty of options. You can order pizza or pasta and ask to have ingredients added or subtracted from the dish.
Prices are reasonable and service is fast. There are a few steps required to navigate to enter the restaurant but once inside there is plenty of seating and tables available. The venue can be extremely busy on Saturday evenings so bookings are recommended.
Takeaway is available along with eftpos.
Ok they need to learn the proper way to make arancini and the Bolognese was a bit salty for my liking
Hadn't been here for years. Pizzas are still the same. Plenty of toppings and taste as I remembered them. The place is a little loud and the young staff are a little inexperienced but pleasant. Pizzas are a little more expensive than they used to be so it is not a super cheap meal anymore but still acceptable.
Dez, Grace and all the staff are always so friendly and generous. They never fail to give us the rolls made over from leftover pizza dough which are truly delicious, we'd go there just for them. The Pizza's themselves are great - La Porchetta Niddrie is wonderful value and a friendly place to eat in or take-away.
Credit where credit's due - The pizza's are undoubtedly better here then they were years ago.
Pasta was great, Bruschetta pizza was great however had slightly too much oil.went with a group and overall all dishes were delicious.
Awful, waited around to be served! They Ignored us thinking we were there for uber eats pick-up, had to call them up and ask to be seated, didn't even bother asking us. The guy wearing a white polo that day beard and near bald head. Honestly embarrassing. At least have the have the decency to greet us. They weren't even busy at the counter. We waited for everyone to be served, once every one was served we thought we were next, but no, he just stood there looking around fiddling with things on the counter, until we spoke to him. Seriously guys we were shocked. Yes our skin is brown, but that doesn't warrant stereotyping! Subtle racism at its best. I was embarrassed for you!
Visited here for a Christmas dinner with family on a Sunday and although a week and a half before Christmas it was packed. The acoustics are lacking and it is extremely noisy making it hard to have a conversation even though we were situated at the front window away from most of the crowd.
It took a long time to be served and for the food to turn up and the waitress was not very well versed in the way some of the dishes on the menu were cooked. However, the food was lovely. An entree size lasagne was quite sizable that it could have been a main! Pizza delicious and salt and pepper calamari cooked well and served on a super fresh rocket salad.
Just wish we could have had a conversation!
Ordered a take away medium super special with the addition of shrimp (really? We’re Australian it’s prawns not shrimp) and went to pick it up. Was quoted my order medium super special with shrimp and paid my bill. Got home, nice pizza but with NO shrimp. Paid extra for nothing. This place can’t be trusted. If you’re foolish enough to get an order from here, make sure you check it before you hand over any cash.
Kids lasagna was cold in the middle and prices seem to have gone up although the size of the large pizza kind of looked like it was the medium size and toppings on "the lot" seemed thin but I was assured it was the biggest size. Prefer it here to other places for more family feel but a bit disappointed compared with previous times. Would be good if they had a face painter or balloon artist in the corner to offer some kind of distraction for kids while they wait.
Very disappointing.
The place usually serve good food!
Grilled chicken, the middle part is still raw, too chewy.
Pescatore, the seafood used is obvious that comes from a frozen pack, doesnt taste good at all.
When i went to la pork cetta, it was my birthday. I ordered the super American pizza and pointed to my magnum dong. In the back i heard a comical spit and laugh. I eat my food and when i went home, i felt sick. I went to the doctors and i got aids! My wife dumped me for cheating. No one told me the pool was closed.
Love this place and the people that work here with enthusiasm and a great love for their customers definitely will be back.
Had a very nice family meal here, not over priced, had good music, my iced coffee was very nice and the gnocchi was light as a cloud. Friendly service too
They welcome you in sit you down bring you drinks straight away and the food was terrific i will take my family every time I go to niddrie
One day I'll find a pizza bar that takes pride in what it makes. All to often it just a pizza. Why not put quality olives instead of the cheap rubbish and when putting anchovies on would it be to much to break them up a little.
