33 Wednesday Night - Great little Mexican place with a very delicious menu for you to try out. Has a great feel throughout the restaurant and the service by the G. O. A. T.team members was excellent.
So lets break it down…
Ordered: Meat Lovers (Share Platter) and Pulled Lamb Enchilada (special)
Cost pp: Approx $38.00 (1 main with 1 regular alcoholic beverage)
Ambiance: It has a great Mexican feel to it. Bright, happy and inviting. The only suggestion would be that background music was a little low, which can detract from a good Mexican date night out or group catch-ups. It was a Wednesday night though, so could just be mid-week chill night.
Customer Service: Really good and very accommodating as we were waiting for a person to arrive for about 20 minutes. Our G. O. A. T.reps was very understanding and courteous. Offered us drinks while we waited and left us to talk until our friend arrived. From ordering, service and checking, it was all excellent. Well Done!
Food: Very Tasty, (refer to pictures) – It didn’t take us long to clean our plates. Good Flavours and nice variety on the platter.
Overall, Would certainly recommend this place for a group get together or a family dinner. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I found the food to be just fine.everything needed a bit more flavour, would have loved a bit more of spice for sure!
Used these for take away delivery for first time and were very pleased. Chicken Burrito was fully loaded and good size, Chicken Burrito bowl had a great variety and well presented for take away. Both fresh & flavorsome.
Service was good (shout to Josh & Pip) and delivery on time promised. Will certainly use again
We have had takeaway twice. All of the menu is fantastic. Light and flavoursome, not too spicy for those who don’t like chilli. We will be back!
A little disappointing. It was ok. Flavours were bland. No spice or mexican flavours. The enchiladas were small, considering it’s a meal, and we aren’t big eaters and it’s not super cheap either. Bit of a shame, was hoping hampton Street would have a winner.
This was my first time trying out the food and I was excited to have a Mexican restaurant in the hood. While the food was very tasty the two women working have either not been trained properly on Covid safe food handling guidelines or have chosen to ignore ALL protocols. They were constantly pulling down their masks touching their faces, touching common surfaces like the front door handle, phone, bar and not once did I observe either wash their hands between handling the food containers. Again the food was very tasty but I won’t be ordering again.
So happy to see Mexican in Hampton. We tried five kinds of tacos last night, and all of us were happy. There are some unorthodox ingredients on a few of the options, but they totally worked. Good guac, too. We prefer a bright, tart margarita, and these are too sweet for us, but the food was all really flavorful and well done.
Took 2 hours from placing order. Called after 1.5 hrs and was told it was 10 mins away. Don’t take orders if you can’t make the food. The food wasn’t great either.
SO EXCITED to see La Cabra Mexican has finally come to Bayside! Was able to order takeaway on my way home from work! Their food is delicious, so tasty and such great value! They are new so its obvious by the waiting time on food that they are getting their groove, but easily forgivable since in lockdown I guess its hard to predict the demand. The food made up for the wait. The restaurant looks so classy & the staff were so friendly, I cannot wait for their doors to open for dine in! Margaritas & burritos; THE BEST!
Brilliant. The best burrito I've had in Australia. Thank you for making a pulled lamb option. Great size. Authentic and delicious.
So brilliant that La Cabra has located across from us on the south end of Hampton street.all of us at Hampton Dental Centre, have been hanging out for the satellite venue from Hawthorne, well done La Cabra, we are excited, cheers
I love this place! Amazing food. The fish tacos and prawn tacos are my favourite but I have pretty much tried everything and loved it all. Great service (out of lockdown). Ordered take away tonight and just as delicious. Can’t wait to be able to eat in the courtyard again.
