La Cabra Hampton - Modern Mexican Takeaway

Normally pretty good service and food. Last night terrible service and waited over an hour for food. Asked for extra cheese on Nachos and it hadn’t melted and was cold. Needed to ask numerous times for drinks and service. Granted they were very busy but I feel staff need extra training in customer service. As a simple apology that food is delayed would have sufficed.

Saturday surcharges of 10% with no signs anywhere. Since when has this been a thing? We can all accept a public holiday surcharge but 10% on a weekend? Disgusting

Take away. Very hit and miss. Sometimes it is fresh and hot when you collect it and sometimes some parts of the order have been sitting longer than others and aren’t hot. The level of spice heat also varies. Last nights guac was so hot you couldn’t taste the avo. I think eating in may be better although that wouldn’t impact the spice level.

Didn't like food at all. Quacamole was awful, the other dip that came with corn chips not much better. Corn chips were maybe slightly better than supermarket variaty. Pork belly taco was Ok, egplant taco awful. A $50 bottle of wine is probably around $20 retail. Should have ordered beer.
No complaints about service. Atmosphere? There isn't any.
Wouldn't come again or recommend.

Walked in and was given a table and menus, 20 minutes later we were not served once so we just walked out

Lovely Mexican food. Good vibe, a little loud, but we all enjoyed.

Taco Tuesdays was good value. Pitchers of margaritas were Lovely

If only they had heated the enchiladas.flavours were delicious and food quality was good, but my beef enchilada and wife's mushroom enchilada were cold. Yes, the cheese on top was melted, but inside was cold. That means it wasn't made fresh - just reheated. Not good. The waitress talked to the cooks, then apologised and gave us a 15% discount. I was almost fooled that I was getting freshly made food.

We had a great night out here. All the staff were really helpful and very accommodating. Our food came out at a reasonable time and the cocktails are yummy. Definitely coming back here for sure.

Update: Not sure what has happened but I'm not impressed anymore. My last *five* orders have been abysmal.either I receive the wrong item or it's been inedible. I always order the same items.consistency isn't here anymore, sadly.

Yum - great food, friendly and proactive staff. Not cheap but good, consistent quality and quick takeaway. Partial to the jackfruit burrito?

During our visit to their Hampton location, we indulged in their 90-minute bottomless brunch which was only $69 per person, which comprised five courses of their distinctive dishes, including dessert, along with unlimited drinks

The meal was incredibly fulfilling, and we departed feeling thoroughly satisfied — highly recommended

It's a joke you guys charge 10% surcharge on Sundays and nothing on your menu or website to say that.

Veeery slow service, waited for 50 minutes to get our food. You’re serving tacos, guys, shouldn’t take that long.

This was not the greatest Mexican food! They have good presentation but the taste get a bit lost with the mayo. Tacos were good with the chimichurri. The music was a bit too loud for my liking it feels like a nightclub I feel is bit small for the noise. It can improve.

The food’s pretty good when you eat in but deliveries always arrive cold (I live five minutes away). They’ve also missed requests to remove mayo from my order several times, despite the request being printed on the receipt that’s attached to the bag.

Food delivery driver here got told it will be 15 minute wait ended up being 1 hour 30 minutes to a point that the person that ordered the food on the delivery platform cancelled the order

While waiting other drivers came and picked up the orders assigned to them but the staff just kept me waiting other drivers same race and talking in same language as the staff member that was doing the food for delivery drivers

The staff member told me to go home when the order got cancelled

Over all very rude and unprofessional

The order would never of got cancelled if you actually had the food ready with in the set time frame that the food delivery service gives you and the time frame you initially told me (15 minutes) so for my troubles of waiting 1 hour 30 minutes I get $3.50 "riemburtment" so any sorries don't cover my bills sorry is not good enough because it keeps on happening

If the restaurant is to busy and you cannot handle it turn off the virtual store on the delivery platforms do not accept new food orders just greed at the drivers expenses

This review will stay here untill indefinitely.

Loved this place. Very accommodating, delicious and fresh Mexican food, super ambience.definitely will be visiting again to try the rest of the menu

Delivery took 2.5 hours and they didn’t even make it fresh, tasted terrible and no compensation! Just a very late dinner that wasn’t worth the money or my time waiting! Thanks for wrecking my Sunday! I do not recommend this restaurant or Menulog!

Everything was packed with flavour, cute and comfy decor, very affordable. We'll be back ️️

Probably the best Mexican food I've had. Couldn't take photos of the tacos but they were amazing! Highly recommend it!
