Kyneton Bushland Resort

Our favourite getaway in this area. Clean and beds are comfy. (Hard enough for our Asian tastes. We hate soft mattresses that sink in that results in back pain that many other resorts seem to have.)

Great wildlife in the area as well.

Quite comfort an not to far to town. Good walk or bike ride. But plenty to do at the resort. Pool tennis golf. Something for everyone. Close an short drive to other hamlet with load of interest for the family.

Group reunion weekend. Great facilities for adults and kids. Canoeing on the lake and swimming fantastic. Comfy bed. Very clean. Large spaces. Best location near the lake and pool. Would have liked a real coffee on site but great coffee in town. Highly recommended to families of all ages and interests

Nice place to chill in the bushland. We saw kangaroos, rabbits and birds outside our unit.clean and friendly service.

My family return here every year. Great fun and activities for all ages and a really peaceful place to relax.

Great for families and people who are able to walk easily. Not good for people who use wheelchairs or other mobility aids. There are a couple of units with minor disabled facilities. For people who are comfortably mobile Kyneton and the surrounding area is wonderful. Great for foodies!

Really good swimming spot. You aren't supposed to jump off the bridge but if you check the water and don't dive or anything stupid its ok. Nice and secluded from the hustle and bustle and very homely environment.

You can have wild life outside your villa.kangaroos, raven that wakes you up and other animals I can't recognize

Idyllic spot. Comfy villas separated from each other making it very quiet.
Office staff very helpful and some great tours to go on. Also lots of in house things that can be done

There is plenty to do here! The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable and it's nice to get close to the nature that this place provides.

An excellent resort, the first heated pool we have come across that is genuinely heated, 30 degrees. The spa was even warmer, then there's the sauna! Great to be able to get rain water onsite. The room was excellent, very clean and everything was in good condition. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Not a lot of Bush around the Kyneton Bushland Resort!
But plenty of things you can do! Has just about every sport and game covered on site, it's not a very long drive to some really pretty reserves and water falls!
You could spend weeks exploring all the parks, reserves and bush close to this resort!

Great place for kids. Well appointed units. Well looked after. Heating was good but a bit of a schlep in the winter down to the pool and playgrounds.
The kangaroos visited regularly and the trees hosted tons of cockatoos.
The little shop was handy given the resort is a few kms out of town.

Comfortable accommodation and being set in natural bush surroundings, saw kangaroos just outside the unit.

Amazing resort! Great for kids, got an amazing heated pool with a sauna. The rooms are immaculately clean and are cosy and spacious. It's only an hour out of Melbourne, being a great place to stay at. A big bushland resort, making it spacious and getting to see lots of native animals!

Nice resort with good sized cabins. Some residential houses are mixed in with the resort. When we arrived to the cabin there was a leak in the water system which was flooding the back, it was quickly resolved. The main bathroom in the cabin is enormous! The facilities are good, with canoeing on the lake, big pool (take your own towels) with a kids pool, spa and a sauna, mini golf and nice walks. There is a nice variety of native animals around too. Its about 3km out of Kyneton town centre, with an easy signed drive. Overall I would stay again.

Very close to town so yiucan pop out and get anything you need. The unit we were in was.ca drastic and right next to the indoor heated pool. Would recommend 10/10

Nice clean accomodation. Annoying that the internet is rationed like their guests are children. Only 3G works here so cannot tether your phone to a device. It’s 2019!

Great staff and clean rooms, not too far from town.as a millennial the only problem i had was that there was basically no service so calling someone was almost impossible
