Kryal Castle Suites

Great day out, although I was a little confused about a few things.
When did roman times and Greek mythology become apart of medievil times.
Also if Mr Kryall based his castle around King Arthur then your round table of knights has to many seats, there should only be 12.

Building Theming really good as are the costumes. Shops though are really poor seem to be full of tack at sky high prices. Was a good day out as a once off but I doubt we will go back

I love this place! Fond memories from my childhood and now making memories for my children. Plenty to do and see and not to expensive

Really good atmosphere, the staff seemed to really enjoy being there and made it such fun for the kids. The food was a good standard and nothing felt overpriced. Absolutely recommend it for a family day.

Kryal Castle was fun day for visit. Loads of activities on the day. They plan events very well and nicely spread out. Some activities are free, and some you pay. If into medieval times worth the visit. There are basic cafe type places, to get coffee, snacks, drinks, nothing to fancy. So maybe my suggestion pack your food/snacks (especially if going as larger groups or as family), then if need hot cuppa grab one. Staff are entertaining, and friendly.

The lady serving us this morning the 3rd of July at the abbey for breakfast was incredible, she was so polite and very helpful, even though she was clearly flustered due to being understaffed. The rooms were clean and warm and overall the staff and other amenities were exquisite.

The cold wintery day added to the atmosphere of the castle.

Great place for kids of all ages!

Great family day out. Try to go during school holidays so you get all the shows.
This place has been here for so long now but it's still worth the visit. Plenty of activities to do for kids.

Kryal Castle provides an interesting way to spend the day. Great entertainment, fun activities and reasonable food. Make sure to rug up as this is a predominantly outdoor attraction.

It's a great place to be with kids.great wood fire pizza with lot of fun for the kids.being a castle they should fairy floss to buy.

Cool place to visit. Lots of great photo ops. Mid day show is amazing. Staff are super friendly. Deffo wait to get cheaper tix on the deal sites.

The service was outstanding! A Kind wee lady called Ruby gave me the best service I have ever experienced. She was nice to my wee little children called jimmy and Timmy. Cool place real coooool

The live show were poorly done just not great action and the queen that they had on the day was not worthy of the title
If your kids are under 8 years old they will probably like it otherwise average performance in my humble opinion.

Had a fantastic day at my favourite place on earth; dungeons, axe throwing, jousting all brilliant. However the one blight on the day was tone and the manner of "The Manager" (as he introduced himself) when he yelled at our group for taking our drinks unwittingly beyond the unsigned drinking area. This public berating deflated the group unnecessarily and put a damper on the rest of the day. All other staff, however I am happy to say, behaved in a fantastic and fun way which made up for his rudeness.

Wanted for so long to go as love medieval festivals in Brisbane.
This place has so much potential but is seriously lacking.
As I was walking around I could think of so much more that can be done for more atmosphere
Roving entertaining, fire pits burning on cold days tarot readers stalls better quality jewellery actors acting out in buildings there is nothing hardly in the shops at the abbey pub spit roast pub grub
Sad and run down the staff that do the horse displays are good but no atmosphere so sad

They have absolutely destroyed what was once a historical and educational landmark. They have turned it into a freak show.
Personally I wouldn't waste my time or money their ever again. Such a disgrace and disappointment.

A great place to unwind.
I did stay in a castle in Irland many years ago & also visited & climbed them in England on the same trip.
So to stay here just brought back happy memories of a great holiday.
Just to experience & image what it must of been like to live in real castle long long ago.
A great experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed this bit of escapism. You know it's not real, but the more you tour the castle, the more you start to believe. Excellent for kids from 0 to 65. I will return.

Paul showed very Un acceptable attitude for which he apologised partly. This was our third visit. Previous visits were ok but this time was very disturbing where we heard comments like, 2 rooms down the row have paid more than us therefore management has more obligation that they are well looked after.

Aircon in our room was not working.

Management must talk to Paul and assure he learns some manners. Very Un professional and rude towards immigrants.

Place is nice but staff has got problems with people of colour, especially Paul very rude and unprofessional and he lives on the property and wanted us to stop the music at 8: 30 because he had wedding booked next day, so he had to sleep early.
He apparently owns this property or at least he thinks he does.
He needs to learn some hospitality.

Kryal castle is wonderful. The staff were lovely and friendly and the exhibits and shows were spectacular. If you love medieval things then this is the place for you.
