I had a very friendly sales assistant serve me in this store the other day - she seemed to me like she was just a genuinely nice person - which is kinda odd but - I mean that in a good way! Only cos I find that in sum of these "la di da" stores - the sales girls that work there, think that they are all that & a bag of potatoes! & think they can judge on whether u have money or not - which if they think ur poor then they have the right to treat u like scum! Although.if I’m honest - that thought kinda makes me smile cos I think of Julia Roberts' in Pretty Woman. Remember? When Vivian (Julia Roberts) can’t resist going back in to the very store that had rejected her earlier that day. She knows that she looks very different now & May not be recognisable as the same woman who had been dressed like the “working girl” that she was! But going past again - it was a must that she did something after being treated like scum. She walks into the store looking around - trying to find the same sales assistant - the snobby b***h who had told her that “her kind” are not welcome here! She had humiliated Vivian. & it was cruel. Revenge is sweet though as this time on returning to the store, when the sales assistant spots her - she smiled as she walks up to Vivian! "Haha", Vivian thinks, then asks, “Do u work on commission? " The sales woman was not ecpecting that question, however, she replies, "Well, as a matter of fact - yes! Yes I do! Why do you ask? " This makes Vivian obviously happy to hear as she smiles that huge smile. Then Vivian holds up all of her shopping bags - heaps of them! God only knows how much she’s spent! Lucky girl! She waves them around the shop & then at the sales woman, before breaking the news: "Big mistake! ", Vivian says. "Huge mistake actually! When you refused to help me - you lost all of this! So big mistake! ”
Lol Ahh - what a classic! Love it!
