Caption phone is OK when it works properly but the captions take too long to start meaning you miss the first part of a call and are sometimes inaccurate depending on who is speaking. Also, when initiating a call sometimes the person I am talking to has trouble hearing what I am saying. Also would be good to have access to settings such as volume, answering machine for missed c alls Etc.

A great system for my parents to see all their children and grandchildren and talk to them. Such an easy system to use. Well done Konnekt!

For the first time we have been able to ring and talk to our significantly hearing impaired mother. She can also ring us (Skype) which she has done. It is very easy to use. At times text doesn’t match voice but generally works really well. Also, we couldn’t believe how cheap it was and Support is really excellent.

The Konnekt system has been a fantastic addition to our Mum's life. She is usually very uncomfortable with technology but has said herself 'This is a very simple system. ' which has helped us all to stay more in touch. I would recommend Konnekt to any family household where there is an elderly person who is living alone. The Konnekt team are also easy to work with in getting everything set up.

We needed something for our hard of hearing elderly mother. Standard telephones that are supposed to be loud are just inadequate. I came across Konnekt and went for the captions and simplicity of use. The large captions work very well. The video makes it so much better, not just for the pleasure of seeing. Seeing when she is reading the captions is very helpful for the flow of the conversation. The sound is very much better than a standard "loud" telephone in quality and volume, as well. My mother was reluctant to try it but took to it immediately. Conversations are now a pleasure and intelligible instead of frustrating and impossible.

Konnekt has enabled us to actually tell our 98 year old severely deaf mother news over the phone because she can now see what we say. With the Skype function she has already been able to see a new great grandson. Also, we can see her face and be reassured that she looks healthy. I have been impressed with how easily I have been able to deal with their staff.

I was looking for a mobile phone for my mum as she has dementia. I found Konnekt. From the very start I had amazing communication. The help to get my mother connected in NZ, with no wifi, I had roadblocks after roadblock. The patience that all the staff at KONNEKT trying to connect was so worth it and absolutely amazing.

This video phone saved my sanity when I lost my hearing suddenly overnight
It was a long wait (thanks to covid) bf attaining a Cochlear implant - being able to be in touch with family & friends - seeing their faces meant being able to lipread as well as read the captions of the conversations was extremely helpful

After searching multiple and varied options to find a communication solution for my elderly, (92 year old) mum, Konnekt out-ranks all of them. As a result of her being bed-ridden in an aged care home, compounded by rapidly deteriorating deafness and short-term memory loss, her ability to contact (or be contacted) by family and friends was significantly restricted.

After months of exhaustive experimentation with various different mobile and landline phones and computer software, I found nothing else that even comes close to the functionality, ease of use and quality support of the Konnekt Video Phone.

The people from Konnect were so helpful from the start to setup. Everything was explained and they made it so easy to organize purchase, delivery and setup. Each person I spoke to was friendly and helpful. Setting up was so easy too and took no time at all. My mum is 88 and she loves it. She can see me and also read what I say if she hasn’t heard me properly. I work full time so can’t see her as often as I’d like so being able to Skype is the next best thing. I can tell if she doesn’t understand and if she doesn’t look well. It has made life easier for us both. Mum can also read the dialogue when she talks to someone else which assists in understanding them.

This videophone is amazing as our family can call in and see my mother every day. She can see and hear us despite her reduced eyesight and hearing. She doesn't have to work the technology, she just says hello when we call! Very easy installation and super helpful team.

It is not an understatement to say Konnect has changed my mother's life in the most positive way imaginable! Having a severe hearing impediment meant she was fearful of answering calls as she was concerned she would be frustrating family and friends on the other end of the phone by constantly asking them to repeat words and phrases. Now, she is confident in receiving and making calls as the captions work extremely well for all voices coming through. I received professional efficient service from the first call and the equipment is straight forward to use, even for my 87 year old mother. Thank you Konnect! If I could give you six stars I would!

This is a fantastic concept. Konnekt has enabled my family - four children who live in Europe and Australia to remain in regular and easy contact with my wife who is now in a nursing home and no longer has the ability to use a conventional telephone or iPad to communicate with her family. This would not have been possible in any other way. Thank you sincerely.

So good, My 92yr old father can use it. Gives me piece of mind when I cant get to his place. Just use it.
