Koala Childcare Mt Waverley reviews
32My daughter attends the toddler room and in the two months since commencing she is excited to go to Koala in the mornings. Every time she is collected she is happy and immersed in the activities. If I pick only two words to describe the staff, I select 'nurturing and 'kind'. Highly recommended.
Very efficient and caring team of educators are there in this centre who are sharing their knowledge and skills in the growth and development of the children. The management is extremely helpful and accustoms well with your child’s needs. I am very happy and would highly recommend this centre to anyone looking for a wonderful and safe environment for their children. Thank you Koala childcare centre.
BEST day care in Mt Waverley. I love Koala Mt Waverley. They have done so much for my child and I am thankful for this. It means a lot.
I love this center i was working here as an casul educator for a few days very nice staff and had good supervision for the children i would love to work there again
Our son just loves going to Koala and all the great staff. We thought transitioning him to a new childcare would be hard but given the amazing outdoor area he never looked back.
Koala is a great childcare & kindergarten. The kids have a great time there and they don't want to leave when I go to pick them up
My son has been attending the centre for a while now he loves the place. I find the staff very friendly and haven’t had a issue, i drop him off and know he is in safe hands. Highly recommend
We absolutely love koala. My son has been going there for years and runs in the door all excited. He's learnt soooo much while being there. It blows me away when he comes out with stuff he's learnt. Can't fault this centre. And the staff are very tolerant and lovely!
I can highly recommend Koala Childcare to any family. This was the childcare I went to as a child and is where my daughter is currently attending full time.
The staff are genuine and caring. You can tell they truly care about the children in their care and they've become a second family to my daughter.
Koala is fantastic. Both my little ones, Darcy (holiday care) & Sofia (nursery) are there. The lovely ladies there really make a mum feel happy and comfortable with leaving the kids there. The educators all care about the kids so much and my little ones love it there. Highly recommended Koala to any family.
My daughter has been at Koala for roughly 2.5 years now and I can definitely recommend this childcare. She comes home happy each day and is always excited to play and learn something new in the mornings.
My child used to come here 3x a week, and altho she had a couple of good times here, I also had some disappointments with this facility- making me feel guilty until now for having enrolled my child in it.
First of, I cannot forget the day I picked up my one year old daughter in the nursery room without a jacket/ jumper on on a cold winter day, with the windows open. My daughter was crying out loud and her skin was very cold. I don't know how long she had been cold, and when I pointed it out to the carer, she only explained that she wasn't with her earlier, she didn't know why it was taken off, blah blah. I didn't even get an apology. After I raised this matter to the manager, fortunately I would always see my daughter snuggled up already. But really, the manager wasn't also apologetic and was even defensive about the incident.
Another thing that disappoints me with this daycare is that they keep changing their carers in every room. I don't know if they have any idea about the benefits of familiarity for children especially as young as one year old. I cannot blame my child if she had a hard time adjusting whenever I leave her at this daycare as carers change just when she got used to one. Carers don’t like it when a child gets fixated with one carer.
Breakfast is also served only til 8am. If you're late, your child gets no breakfast. And no, you cannot request. Your fault parent for bringing your child nearly or after 8am.
There are staff that I truly appreicate as I felt they really cared for my little one, like Kate and Kelly. But there are some, like the manager- Holly, who needs to know how to be more courteous and learn how to sympathize with concerned parents.
