29 Worse self checkout experience! Just HORRIBLE!
This store needs to have extra staff at the self checkout! Only one person in this area! REALLY!
How can one staff member cover this area? The poor young girl was called from one side to another!
There are customers waiting to purchase their goods in the proper line, only to have some imbeciles just walking in from the bottom end where you leave after purchases have been made!
So the rest of us are stupid for doing the right thing because of these impatient disrespectful morons who think they're entitled!
Clean up your customer service Kmart Doncaster! Maybe take a leaf out of Kmart Burwood's store and you might learn something!
Accidentally left item at self-service checkout. Staff didn't alert me of this as i was leaving the store, and when i returned to the store item was gone and no staff member had handed it in.

Don’t think should be in retail with that customer service is shocking
and had a big overnight bag as i stayed at my friends the other day and came straight from there and wasn’t going to let me go should get better staff with better knowledge and not accuse people for stealing

Poor customer service…. Called them 3 times and still no response. What’s the point of having a telephone when you are not going to respond? ! Kmart at Pines are so much better
We went to Kmart today to buy some things for our new house. My mum and I were treated so poorly by the lady at the checkout, she was extremely rude and aggressive. We will go to a different kmart from now on.
Always understaffed at service desk. Last two times I have waited over 10 minutes to be attended to.iPhone accessory stock always wrong and workers so understaffed they don’t help look

Stock levels quite inaccurate, staff generally recommends you to visit the other bigger stores.
Ordered a top for my sister online. Received a text and email to pick it up from Click and Collect. Staff members couldn’t find the item and spent over 10 minutes searching. Thankfully, they then managed to get the same item from the floor. Regardless, not good enough. Spent over 20 minutes waiting for something I should have received within 3 minutes.
What a great place to shop! I spent 2 hours in Myer trying to find a white business shirt and nothing. Went to KM and bought 4 that were so much nicer
Always disappoints me the way they position the register in the central part of the shop. Thanks kmart for the unesesary stepcount.
Hate the fact there are NO Registers at the Front. Service Desk is now located at the Back of the Store. Bring back Cashiers, especially during COVID Times # NO One Disinfects them.
Yeah its kmart, what di you expect, lots of cheap rubbish, some good stuff, checkouts are in the middle (?). We go often, the t shirts are great value
Just got served by the most helpful girl at the service desk called Sophia! She helped me pick the perfect wrapping paper!

I called ahead trying to find a fishing rod that was sold out at other stores.
A young girl said that she found one for me and I asked her to check to make sure it was the right one that I wanted and she said it was and double checked because I said i was driving 30 minutes to pick it up.
Once I got there I went to pick it up and well. She was right it was the right rod but how can you fish without the top half of the fishing rod.that's right she put aside half a fishing rod ️
I found the top half at the rack but it was snapped.
It was super annoying considering I drove 30min after being told it was the right one and it's intact to find out I got put aside half a fishing rod.
Upside a young guy at service spent ages out the back to try and find me the right one that was complete and hats off to him because he found one for me after searching everywhere.
Not much on the shelves and I don't know why registers are in the centre of the store makes no sense to me!
Cheap goods which are reliable and hard to beat prices. It's kmart, what you expect? Service is good too and newly renovated!
Faulty product& unfriendly staff
So disappointed in their customer service and management. Had to go to store 4 or 5 times times because I'd got 2 products from them that were both faulty. First item was an alarm clock. First time I bought it, didn't have the cable in the packaging, went back and exchanged it with another one, came back home plugged it in with batteries, it did not work. Had to go back again to get the correct one. Each time that I went I had to wait at least 30 minutes in the service line for the one or two poor staff at customer service to assess a crowd of people with myriads of problems and the last time I went I had to be there for more than an hour and a half.
The day after was my brother's birthday and one of our friends got him a toy car with a wireless remote control from Kmart Doncaster and guess what, it wasn't working. (Just want to clarify that we made sure that we were using the right batteries and everything and the staff agreed that the products were faulty) when I went back to return the toy, I asked one of the managers that was near the toy section to help me out and she put the minimum effort into helping me find another car to exchange the other one with and then she sent me to customer service where I had to wait again for a very long time to get the toy car exchanged
They are so understaffed that I had to go back and forth from the service station to the toy section several times to recheck the price and everything while one of the managers could come forward and handle this situation much better.
And I don't think that it's all their fault but I know that I'm never shopping at Kmart again
