I would like to Thank Martini at Klapp Audio Visual for providing fantastic service resolving an issue with a Turntable I purchased from a private seller recently. Not only is Martini technically brilliant at diagnosing issues, he provides super efficient and practical advice when using and listening to top audio models in the home.

As a teenager who attended school in the area some 15 years ago I walked past the Klapp Audio Store everyday. The years of experience of this store is super outstanding. This store is an icon in Melbourne. I cannot recommend Martini's expertise enough.

Just bought a turntable of these guys and never been more impressed they beat the prices of the major sellers and I placed my order on Monday and it was delivered on Tuesday I am very happy and will shop again. A+

all the products can be found elsewhere in Australia, do yourself a favour and look elsewhere, you'll have a MUCH better time

I recently bought a few things through Klapp and I have nothing but good things to say. Being in a different state, they shipped the items very quickly and the prices weren't so bad either! To top it off, the staff are friendly and helpful!

Was met by Martini who was able to assist me with my turntables. Smiled and friendly the whole experience.

Great price and service initially and made sure I paid all monies owing quickly to expedite shipping to me but that's where it ended, with promise of sending items not honoured and late delivery meant more delays and extra handling over the weekend from having to be unloaded and re loaded from courier trucks. Items finally arrived and no packaging or protective wrapping over speaker boxes like most would do and unfortunately boxes arrived severely damaged. Very disappointing!

WARNING! If you buy HiFi gear from ANY shop in Australia, insist that they DO NOT USE "TNT" COURIERS! If you value your items. If you want proof, look at their reviews. Insist that the shop use another courier service.

Entered store and was meet with two gentlemen leaning on the shelves, when i asked for help with in ceiling speakers and all equipment required to run, i was told they couldn't assist and i would have to come back mid week when another staff member was in that could help. They then proceed to ask my budget, i responded ' unsure as yet.they both smugly laughed.that when i exited and will take my business elsewhere. HIGHLY disappointed. Will not return.

1/ Instore - was told I could only buy these products online then come instore to pick up.
. Okay no worries will do.

2/ placed my order for brand new speakers online.
Could not pay online even with PayPal,
This shows as an option but is against their terms?

3/ Got a phone call two days later.
Only to say that they cannot complete the purchase without payment?

4/ I advised that the website terms do not allow it. Then he proceeded to tlte me that these speakers are classified as spare parts?
Brand new speakers sold as a pair are spare parts?

5/ then proceeded to tell me I need to pay over the phone via credit card. I could have done this instore three days earlier when I went in.

6/ sorry but something is not right with these people and the way they do some transactions!

Great service. Took us out to the testing room and allowed us to listen to all the speakers. The guy was really friendly and helpful.

Dishonest and shifty jacking prices. Had price on website and ebay then when i mentioned ebay code they quickly pulled the ebay listing down then jacked their prices up. When challenged they stop replying to my emails. Purchased the same item $5000+ projector from their competitor who were happy to have my business. Read the 1 review stars and this really what this business is like. The 5 star reviews are obviously friends or made up accounts. Never will they get my business again. Avoid at all costs!

Super helpful staff that answered all my questions and helped me make an informed decision on my audio system purchases. For the high quality equipment being sold, their prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend to any anyone interested in purchasing audio visual equipment.

Brilliant gear for the discerning customer from the budget minded to high end home entertainment

Excellent service with patience. I bought my B&W floor standing speakers from klapp chapel street showroom. I was very impressed with their demo rooms and service. Delivery and installation was quick. I am very happy with my purchase.

The rudest and most unhelpful sales assistance I have ever experienced. The male staff member who served me was condescending, dismissive and after a few minutes of being spoken to as if I was the biggest annoyance in his day (the store was completely empty) I decided to take my business elsewhere. Found the audio adaptor I needed at Office Works for $4.99, despite him telling me that "no one makes it because it is useless". Would highly recommend avoiding this shop.
