Kitchen Workshop reviews
49 Kitchen Workshop has good ambience but can get pretty crowded during its peak hour. The buffet is reasonably priced and the spread is decent. Drinks that are available at no additional charges are carbonated drinks and drinking water. It would be great if coffee can come together with the buffet.
Overall the main courses taste good. There are rooms for improvement when it comes to desserts, whereby some of them are too rich.
Food would be better if it wasn't the same dishes every time I go and leave the carrot cake on a permanent item you had the cherry slice there on Friday and way to much liqueur I it it tasted like cherry cough syrup but the pricing is good just Not worth the extra to get the seafood as u only get 6 prawns,
Terrible. It's just pathetic. The cheapest of the cheapest dishes. Chickpea stew, potato curry, rice, and anything else you can imagine a person living in abject poverty would eat.
I question the authenticity of these five star ratings.
A great place to have a buffet meal friendly service and great food and would recommend this place to everyone and my friends
This place is in prime location. Not too much choice and looks smaller for the price. Use to love it few years back but not I feel it too pricey for no good food
Nothing to brag about not much choice in Australian food very poor service and cramped tables (considering there was 3 people at square table)
Very rude waiters as they remove plates from tables when people weren't finished at a all u can eat place
Very poor servings of the only roast there was to choose from
Not much of a view other people's heads and big ugly building exteriors
Really good quality buffet at an average price. All ways service with a smile one of the recommendations of a place to eat when ever in Melbourne.
Terrible! Mainly consists of vegetarian dishes I.e. - Chickpea curry, lots of plain noodles and rice, Potato stew and anything else you can think of that’s cheap and filling. Been here five times and it’s only gotten worse, so we won’t be returning.
Go there and see for yourself.
Food was super great. Staff interaction is limited. If you're not a rewards member become one for faster service. Tables were kept clean for more food.
Food is not bad however over the last 6-12 months I've visited about 4 times and the menu was always the same. Desserts may very slightly but the food was always same over and over again. Will give it a miss for a very long time until they finally change the menu
Have been here couple of timsa. Food isnt bad and there's variety so you can livk soemthing you like. Can get a bit busy.
Buffet lunch including soft drink for 24.90 is great value. Everything I tried was delicious. Good variety and really yummy desserts.
Most food has an Asian theme / taste. Chicken was way too salty with only two choices - deep fried or hot n spicy. Nice fresh salads tho.
Great selection of food terrific value great service well worth a visit if you are going to the casino
All you can eat buffet. Doesn't get any better then this. Food was amazing. If you want to eat, drink and get loose and messed up.its perfect!
Went a couple of weeks ago for Monday night dinner. Selection was super limited if you weren't into red meats or chicken that has bones. Half the trays were empty or almost empty and the line to get food was horribly long.
Used to love this place but it seems like every time I go it's worse. Might give it one more go for lunch but this place has gone down hill in a huge way.
Great Customer service, reasonably priced, lots of great food options. However, the line at the front of the location needs more improvement by adding more customer service workers and the line to get food can be quite long. I would also recommend creating another kitchen workshop outside of Crown Casino for family attraction.
Food is great, taste mediocre but has alot of choice, interior setting is appropriate for this semi fast faced buffet
Great price and very good variety of food. I also love that it's unlimited soft drinks. My only gripe is that it's in the casino part so over 18's only so means we can't go with our 16 year old son.
Not reasonable for the price if you are vegetarian or do not eat seafood and beef. Most of the food here are very basic meals you can make yourself at home. The soups were good, desserts were okay. Mains were not great.
