Kino Cinemas reviews
68Cinemas are so quiet these days, very sad to see. Palace is a beautiful, cosy place. Great selection of films. Deserves to be packed out like the old days.
Good service at Kiosk. Friendly staff. No COVID-19 social distancing in Cinema 5, despite allocated seating and cinema only 30% full.
Well located cinema with good mix of films. Some cinemas are small but still ok. Drinks etc available. Staff very helpful. Ladies loo is downstairs.
The palace cinema chain is my go to cinemas.kino has a good number of cinemas so there’s plenty of session times.joining the movie club makes the prices far more reasonable than the larger chains.
Great cinemas. Nice and intimate, good choice of movies and at the moment so quiet you always get a good seat with lots of space in between (social distancing requirements).
Kino always have a great selection of movies from all over the world.with great facilities and you can take a coffee or a glass of wine into the movie or the standard soft drink and pop corn.worth a visit
Cinema itself was clean and in great condition. Great range of snacks and drinks and staff are very friendly and helpful.
Love this place. A bit different to other cinemas - different range of movies. There's also great food shops in Collins Place to eat at before a movie.
My favourite cinemas in Melbourne. Comfortable seating, good screens, not so many noisy children. Provide quality movies from all over the world.
Feels a lot like a school projector, lots of mature people who feel like talking over the movie when they come in late. Lack of allocated seating means people end up shuffling around everytime a group arrives late.
Went to the movies on the cheap movie night, it was well priced, clean and you can buy drinks at the bar to take into the movies!
I love the Kino and have been coming for years. The staff are great, very friendly and professional every time. I like the selection of movies they have on here. Clean cinemas that don't reek of popcorn. Very good selection of wines at the bar. Discounted parking at Wilson lot on Flinders lane. They scan your parking ticket so make sure you present it at the box office. Like any cinema you get annoying patrons who insist on chugging buckets of coke and popcorn, but mostly people are quiet during the film. I'm glad they are part of MIFF now. Well I hope this cinema never closes down.
My personal go-to places to watch movies in Melbourne, apart from Cinema Nova in Lygon. Sometimes they held a screening for several movie festivals that happens throughout the year in Melbourne.
Westgarth is my favourite palace cinema, but kino comes in second. Kino does tend to show more movies and for longer than westgarth does so if i've missed ït at w itry to catch it at kino.
The cinemas are a range of sizes, i usually am late, so am used to the smaller more intimate ones. Really comfortable seats, small audiences~ what's not to like? Well loo is a bit of a hike~for a lady needing a walking stick, but when.you get there, clean, lots of room to manouvre good strong hook for bag and stick. Next time i'll do some exercises during the movie, so i'm not so stiff afterwards and the loo trek won't be so daunting!
The boysenberry choctops are superb, and there is a large range of drinks and snacks to enjoy
Eh.very unsettling phone conversation just to try and find out about booking a ticket. Bridget seriously needs to stop interrupting people. It makes communication a nightmare!
Great boutique cinema, featuring most of the latest movies.
In a superb location, just a short walk from Parliament train station and tram stop immediately out front.
One of the best cinemas in Melbourne due to the quality and variety of the screenings. The cinemas are small to medium sized and comfortable.
Good range of movies. From art house to foreign and throughout the year different foreign movie festivals. A range of beverages are on offer to - ranging from wine to coffee. Staff are great! Also, nearby plenty of cafés and eateries too.
What a wonderful cinema experience.
Awesome location, infectiously friendly staff and awesome cinemas with the best selection of films. And please try the choc tops, absolutely amazing!
Not a bad cinema but as is usual for the industry completely overcharging for the service they provide. Seats are quite worn and lack sufficient leg room for taller patrons like myself. Prices of drinks are industry standard which is to say insultingly overpriced with no connection to their actual value or a reasonable profit margin. Staff were nice though.
