Kino Cinemas reviews
68It pains me to write this review because I normally have great experiences at this cinema, but the cinema we were in tonight was absolutely filthy (Cinema 6). There was popcorn left all over our seats, the tables sticky with soda and the bins full to the brim. Greater attention to cleaning is clearly required.
Comfy sized cinema and able to buy an alcoholic beverage and drink it while watching your movie.
A great theatre to see your favourite movie. Several separate theatres and each are small seat numbers with very comfortable seating and great leg room.
Now Palace Cinema has a system to reserve seats!
Very happy Book now but online booking The system is pretty bad. A total of 6 cards were cut. But when notifying the pump The staff is like having experienced this problem as well. So I quickly refunded the money I've been to this branch for the first time, it's convenient, just walk down to Parliament for a bit, so if you watch a late-night movie, it's not lonely too
We still have a student full time $9 promotion on Wednesday.
Cinema in the business precinct of CBD, went to see The Creator on release day in the evening and had no trouble with seating. Regular and lux seating options, small concession stand and alcoholic beverages available.
A boutique cinema experience and right under the Sofitel on Collins Street. Great staff too.
Watched past lives in cinema 2. Seats are extremely comfortable and spacious, sound and picture are great, overall a fantastic experience. Tickets are cheap on mondays ($7) and wednesdays ($9). Definitely recommend visiting kino instead of hoyts or crown
Great to be out at the movies! BUT, Kino (Melb city) need to get their Covid safe procedures right. If they’re going to have allocated seating, don’t put me right next to strangers - allow a seat between us at least!
Went for the German film festival which was great. Love this cinema for Arthouse and foreign films!
Comfortable seats and a good range of art house movies here. I was lucky to get $5 tickets during a special promotion. Let's hope those prices last a little longer. Thanks Palace Kino
One of the best cinemas in Melbourne. Easy to get to, good atmosphere & great choice of films. Lots of festivals too!
Polite staff members. Always greeted with a smile and friendliness. I love how clean the cinemas are and the fact how boutique it all feels.
Super nice customer service, the cinema I went into was quite small but very nice as it wasnt packed. Extremily cheap and great quality for everything, would definitely recommend!
Beautiful cinema in the CBD, close to parliament train station and surrounded by a lovely food court, with plenty to offer in the way of food and drink themselves.
Nice and cosy cinema. The only problem it's not very disabled friendly. A rail should be installed because the stairs are steep. Also getting to the bathroom is very difficult for a disabled person.
I always enjoy visiting Kino Cinema, have done off and on for the past few decades, it's in a very convenient location, not far from Parliament Train Station or car parking at 28 Flinders Ln. Wilson Car Park, first 2hrs free if visiting Kino!
Today I saw The United States vs Billie Holiday, it's a very good movie Andra Day is excellent portraying the life of a tortured star, being a woman of colour, a woman star, using drugs to pacify the trauma, being pursued by the FBI because she sang "Strange Fruit" a very powerful song, sung a a kind of lament, sad, about the lynching of coloured people, which went unpunished by those who swore to uphold the law! As one patron said out a loud when a bill to stop lynching has still not been passed by the US senate in 2020, no wonder the the place is such a F.g mess!
Visit Kino watch the movie!
I booked a cinema as a surprise present, the staff were very friendly and flexible even though we ran a little bit late and John the AV assistant helped a lot with everything. Cannot recommend this place enough easiest 5 stars ive ever given.
Clean, comfortable, great value. My favourite cinema now that they've shut the regent in brisbane cbd. Love the selection of foreign flicks too.
Excellent cinema. Good place to see some smaller movies and festivals.
Chairs are very comfortable.
Stylish cinema screening a diverse range of films. Have a very good movie club for all ages. Movies at Kino are $8.50 for sessions before 5pm then $9.50 on Mondays. Easy access at Collins Place. Also serves meals, coffee and good quality wines. Happy hour from Tuesday after 5.00pm.
