KFC 401 Swanston Street

Normal outstanding, but last week i ordered a 3pce feed the most standard meal you could possibly get, sorry i was told there will be a 20-25 min wait, this was at 12.30pm. I would imagine this would be your peak time being lunchtime poor effort guys. This experience has shattered my faith in KFC.

This could very well be the best KFC in Melbourne. Certainly the best in the CBD and the best I have ever been to.

You would think that such a centrally located KFC would not be up to scratch. But because the resturant is often busy, the turnover is very high. This means you always get freshly cooked food. Everything is hot, and you can tell it hasn't been sitting for very long.

The facilities are new and, for most part, clean. I have also encountered some of the most competent staff I have seen in any fast food restaurant.

I saw this shop was closed for renovation.why someone is reviewing that's it has good service for 3 hours ago?

please check carefully if you want to come this branch.

Great KFC store! Fresh and very hot! Bourke Street store should take note. One of the best if not THE best KFC stores in Melbourne hence the crowd there everytime I go there!

Unique Dish: Delicious Deep Fried Chicken that makes you Drool at affordable price

Food: Good Portion size.

Service: Cashiers are well presented, smiling & polite.

Atmosphere: Well decorated & Clean. Toilet is clean. Great Music at the right
volume.

Price: Value for $$$

I give it 5 / 5 stars. I highly recommend you to bring your family, colleagues
and friends there this week.

The food quality is fluctuating. You can expect the best OR today and the worst one tomorrow. Staff are pleasant most of the time but it's a store with a high staff turnover rate (don't expect one particular staff will stay here for long)

A good place for a quick bite there was a bit of a wait the day was there an very busy which is a good sign a least for the owners I found the place to be very dirty with wild life through out the store many different types of birds popping in for there lunch of the floor overall not s bad place to eat but not the cheapest would look around for something better next time if I had more time on my hands

Compared to other franchises this one is almost always busy due to its location, and with so many people it makes it seem smaller then it actually is. They do a decent job at keeping it clean though considering.

Finally I've not once had a issue with an order which is a little surprising again due to how busy it always is, so kudos to the staff for that.

I cannot believe I was standing in there for like 5 mins & the guy didnt have any customers! Appeared deliberately he avoided to take an order as it was 9: 40 pm and his home time! I guess they should really improve on treating the customers right or else shut it down! I could rate them ZERO OR MINUS IF I HAD AN OPTION!

Went there last night and placed my order. As I was waiting they served another customer. Next thing they started on their order before mine. I told them that I was first and they just ignored me. Then when she packed my order she basically threw the order into one bag. When I got home the food was stacked upside down and was squashed. I ordered large chips and only got half full packet. Felt totally ripped off and disappointed with the quality. Also as I took out the original chicken they were falling apart. A total disappointment!

I was the guy whose shaker fell off today.because in the very first place.u dont put that shaker inside the twister box.there wasnt even a paper bag for my whole order.pls dont do that next time.it's just utter laziness.u can do better than that.i hope this reaches to the people working on that time.ud remember coz the initial reaction of one staff was laugh when it fell.great job on courtesy there.but u can do better definitely anyway RIP my shaker

It's KFC, which is always good. Particularly thankful to the awesome team who let us stay in an extra 10 mins after they closed so we could finish our drunk shame food in the warmth. So huge thanks, you guys are awesome:)

Very friendly place with quite nice staff, the food is delicious.
It is usually crowded cause it is near RMIT University, so if you need to order fast consider ordering from the app.

Fast, decent service. Maybe because the amount of order that the food always tastes fresh and hot.

I usually do online order but am always pleased at how fast the order comes out even though mine is 16th in the line, orders get called constantly without stopping. Chips are always on point! Great for serving on-the-go uni students.

I ordered Bring Dinner Back Pack, which supposed to give me 9 pieces of chicken, 1 large chips and 1 potato and gravy. However, they turned out giving me chicken with 2 bags of chips without apologizing or even notifying me. I found out until I went home after 15 minutes, and the chicken and chips were all very soggy and not crispy at all. I am very disappointed.

Come here for lunch fairly often and the quality of food and friendly service is miles better than any other store in the inner city. I've gotten fresh and generous food portions every time I order compared to most other KFC stores where the wings often come out warm and soggy. Nice work team.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the speed of the order is still just as fast, only really becoming longer than a couple of minutes during busy lunch and dinner services where that's to be expected.
