Consistently excellent food, very authentic (we lived in Malaysia for 5 years) and extremely reasonably priced. Their takeaways are great, and dining in is always a pleasure - lovely service and very nice ambience. BYO a bonus. Highly recommend!

Consistently tasty, fresh, delicious food. Red duck curry amazing! Love the turmeric and coconut prawns. Love eating at Kerabu! Great value for money and always a treat.

We went there yesterday and told it was booked out but we saw them taking a booking in the phone. We decided to do a takeaway and ordered the snapper which was tough however the accompanying salad was quite nice. The veggies we ordered had pumpkin missing which is why it was ordered. The fried rice we asked them to take out chicken because of dietary requirements but they removed the wrong ingredients and left the chicken in. This is unacceptable.

Large portion sizes and good flavour - so well worth the price mark. Would recommend trying the char kway teow - has good wok hei and flavour. The sesame crusted duck is tender and had a nice sweet sauce. Grilled lemongrass chicken had a smokiness to it. The belacan spinach was ok, not as traditionally strong in belacan flavour as I would have liked.

Lovely ambience, good service, food as far as ingredients was good but my beef rendang lacked flavour.

Excellent atmosphere, especially upstairs. Friendly and attentive staff. Best thing about this place is the food! Delicious!
Red curry duck is the best. A must try. We always order this. You won't be disappointed with any of the mains to be honest.
Nasi kerabu (Kerabu's take on Nasi lemak) is really yummy from the lunch menu.
Good selection of Thai inspired deserts as well. Black rice with juggery mmm I forget the name of this desert but ask the staff.
Tasty wines available as well.
Highly recommended!

Consistently wonderful food. Love this place. A little noisy downstairs. Ask to be seated upstairs.

Dined here a while backand I must say, Kerabu is probably the best Thai restaurant I've been to in Melbourne.

The decor is lovely and although we had to wait a little while for our table, the service was very hospitable and the food came out quickly once we ordered.

We ordered the Thai Red Curry, one of the beef dishes (couldn't remember the name), a fried rice and roti. The thing that stood out to me the most was how succulent and high quality the meat in the dishes was. Many Thai places use low quality chicken in their curries, but this definitely wasn't the case at Kerabu. The vegetables were also so fresh, and the flavours were authentically thai. The roti was perfect, nice and crispy/flaky. 5/5 for everything ordered.

Will definitely be back to see what else Kerabu has to offer!

So impressed with the quality, freshness and depth of flavour in every dish we have purchased. Last Wednesday evening was the second time we ordered & collected food from Kerabu and we were just as pleased as the first time. Excellent work Kerabu, keep it up. Reliable dishes, great service, and so delicious.

The food was very nice. Not a criticism.but feedback to suggest that a pump bottle of sanitizer be placed at the entry for all customers to use on entry and departure to the restaurant. There were people entering over a period of 1 1/2 hours whilst we were dining near the front door. During this difficult time of COVID19 I believe it is absolutely necessary to offer this safety precaution.

The food is very tasty and i enjoyed it however the reason why I cannot give more than 3 stars is the senior staff attitude. During the lockdown as a local, we are trying support the local restaurants however the response that I get is "you are lucky, it's our last day doing delivery. " If you have a problem doing delivery, you shouldn't be offering it in the first place. I wanted to say to her "you are lucky we are ordering from you". May be they are getting busier so it doesn't matter to lose one or two orders. Working in restaurant business, you should not have this kind of attitude. Without a customer you will not exist.

I expected better flavors. Prices were fairly high hence the expectation. Several dishes were quite meh.

A number of fun items on the menu.the flavours were tangy and uplifting. Entrees are fun to share and the mains were well priced. The chairs are a bit stiff but overall a good experience.

Our party of four went the busy restaurant with a buzzing ambience. The food flavours were great and quite authentic with large portions. We had the fish curry (very flavoursome), beef fillet (ver tender and perfectly cooked), grilled chicken (tasty) and belacan spinach (authentic).

The junior staff were very efficient and polite. However, the big let down was the señior waitress (whom we understand is the owner / manager). We had noticed that some reviewers here have commented on her rudeness and this is completely justified. She was abrupt and dismissive. When we started ordering, she interjected and said "Entree? " - when I said we didn't want any, she visibly frowned and communicated her disapproval on her face for all of us to see, The same again when we said we didn't want any desserts.

A fine restaurant for its food, let down by poor service from this person - I was reluctant to leave a good tip for her.

Not sure if we wish to return there.

Kerabu always continues to impress with it's continuity of unique specialty dishes. Service is spot on. Marvellous ambience with a quieter dining level upstairs should you require that. A great restaurant for anyone wanting quality Asian Fusion cuisine.

Have dined here many times and this restaurant has never missed a beat food wise. Always of consistent high quality. One occasion with a very large group we had the banquet was exceptional. Fresh, clean flavours, beautifully cooked & generous servings. Service can be hit or miss depending on how busy the restaurant is. Highly recommended.
