KemizO Entertainment Centre - Pakenham reviews
54Only 1 bathroom so not great for kids even though it's designed for kids, staff where nice, the sky walk looked completely not worth it I didn't bother with rock climbing or later tag after reading other reviews the skating rink was pretty clean but there wasn't anyone telling people not go the way the signs point to avoid crashes or to not eat ect so there was some gum on the rink and stuff which was yuck. With our own skated it was a pretty cheap day but still not particularly impressed and the party rooms I walked past were dark and creepy definitely wouldn't have a party there in future. Would only go back to skate as we did this time cause it wasn't too busy at all probably cause its so uninviting but they had some music on and a colour changing disco ball for the skating rink.
Came across this place when my 9yr old granddaughter was staying with me & I looked local to see what indoor activity places were nearby. Found KemizO & she chose to do rick climbing & roller skating. We spent a couple of hours there & she had a ball & only cost $22 all up for both those - also included in price was the skate hire. Would definitely take her there again.
Really Cool rink to go for an afternoon and play some games, Janet was awesome and looked after us the whole day. Thanks guys.
Amazing service! The staff are all friendly and always fun, especially Janet she's amazing, been going here for years cause my daughter does artistic skating and it's awesome
Great place if you want the kids to have a skate around. Very nice staff. Good prices.
Not like the roller rinks when we were younger though with all the music and lights.
I recently had my daughter's bday party here and i wish i could give more than 5 starts.the staff here are all amazing.a special mention of janet who is extraordinary and incredible.amanda who attended to us and was sooo kind sweet and caring.they gave us ample.food and the service was the best i have ever come experienced in a kids play centre /entertainment.i come other times to for skating and the price are soo low compared to other skating companies.the portion sizes are soo generous.in addition it is also very very clean.i am surprised by some other rather negative reviews of course when there are so many kids staff cannot always keep things immaculate as with every kids establishment.i wish these guys nothing but the best.for success and prosperity.and hope they will be around for decades to come
Half the arcade games weren't operating, the venue didn't have enough any cooling and the staff seemed disorganised.
We really enjoyed our school holidays outing to Kemizo. Staff were friendly, coffee was surprisingly good and the roller skating rink was big and not too crowded.
At the end of the day, it's an industrial building so not super flash, but it was clean and pleasant. We will be back!
Ace quiet. Good food had a burger with the lot and chips before.real barista coffee machine, lots of flavours of ice cream in a cone or cup.nice staff.newish skates. $13 inc skate hire.masks not required on rink plenty of room to social distance.aslo other kids entertainment.laser tag was fun.theres rock climbing canopy walk and a jumping castle.
Love this place and the staff are so friendly.would highly recommend going to a class just to give it a try.but could kemizo please fix the leaking roof i highly doubt that's even close to safe and it is very unattractive.
A great place to take the kids to have some fun on the holidays. The staff were so fantastic and accommodating. Food was great and it was all well priced. Will be coming here more often!
Good time, great staff (RIley thomas and Caden Adshead) and awesome food.
Would highly recomend
This place is so uninviting! First time I walked in I thought it was a prison. Atmosphere is dead, cold, very unappealing. No sign of people anywhere. The laser is rather scary for children, diabolical art on the walls, dark atmosphere. The rock climbing was okay, but I would not recommend this place overall!
The activities are fun but the service is terrible. It took them more than 30 min to make nachos.
Not a nice place very dirty an dusty
Laser tag is unsafe due to poles sticking out of the ground an one of the kids tripped over the pole sticking out an none of the staff seemed to care
Would not recommend
We love kemizo. Go there often and spend hours. They have lost a 5 star rating from me now that they are bringing in timed skating sessions, despite writing to head office and pakenham pleading for them to reconsider this and even offering alternative suggestions to recoup money other ways ie. Skate hire.
This place is awesome. I have been several times with various age groups and have loved it. Great for, parties, youth events, or just to hang with friends.
Not recommend for roller skating at all, the management there is very poor, there's no rules. Kids & adults skate in different directions, and drink & food even toys are allowed while skating. It's not safe to skate there. We will not go there again.
It's apparent as soon as you enter this establishment that cleaning and general maintenance is not a high priority. The website photos are obviously not from the Pakenham Kemizo as there were maybe only about 8 arcade games; 3 of which were out of order and the playground was one twisty slide. This kids playground looked like it wouldn't pass a safety inspection. All the stretchy ropes were frayed and the slide has black dust about an inch thick all over it. Absolutely disgusting. Won't be going back anytime soon.
The staff were lovely. And that's about the only good thing I have to say.
I'd suggest firstly putting some form of heating on when it's 5 degrees outside. Filthy toilets. No padding in some places beneath the elastic climbing gym, so keep your children off of that. Gate does not lock so small children can just wander out into the carpark, which at night is pitch black because the lights are apparently broken and a staff member told me the boss won't fix them.
Plus the night was spent watching them play music over their projectors on YouTube, and between every song searching for another to play.
Here's a small suggestion, if you're going to use YouTube for your background music, at least create a playlist and just leave it alone.
I rarely post a negative review, but I wish I knew about all of this before going.
