Kathmandu Geelong

Visited on Sunday. Girl behind counter didn’t even acknowledge us as we walked past her. We looked at the shoes for 10 mins, no one asked if we needed help. Walked past the counter on the way out and not a word said. What a strange place with people that couldn’t be bothered and should not be working there.

Very good collection of various style ranges. Quite a big store with good interactions from the staff.

I had went for shopping today and brought around 6 jackets.
It was my first purchase there.
But i had a very bad experience
A person working there named 'Rachel' was extremely rude and disrespectful towards me and my partner.
We were taking some time for the billing through gift cards and we felt very discriminated as she was sweet with other people. Kathmandu shall take an action towards such employees.

It is a very good brand and the staff members were excellent and gave us good suggestions.

Absolutely shocking bad service even worse gear defiantly avoid rather go to Patagonian down the road

It is a regular store but there was one of the staff who kept looking at us in a weird way and I didn't like her at all.

Spacious store with a large range.
Staff however were inattentive and not very friendly. It would have been nice to be greeted or asked if we needed any help in finding what we were looking for.

Staff are always friendly, bought about 4 jackets on their 50% off sales over the years. A must have in Melbourne

I waited a while to be calm, but after a month I am still angry, so decided to leave this review. I was there last month and I was trying some jackets. The only mirror that I’ve found was hanging behind an open door (there was no sign to stop me from going to that area). When I was looking at the mirror, the guy named Cody an shouted from the counter that I shouldn’t go there and came to close the door aggressively. If you don’t know how to behave to customers I’m more than happy to teach you. You had to come over and ask me politely to come out of that area so you can close the door so I can use the mirror.
Also, it is your responsibility to make sure those doors are closed instead of standing in the counter and talking to other girl or if you can’t keep that door closed, take that mirror out….
Cody an told me to use other mirror aggressively, you know what, if you would have cared and asked if I need any help, I would have told you that I’m looking for a mirror.
At the end I went to the counter and told them I will not buy the jacket even though I was in love with it and asked for his name, and he asked me to leave the shopthese people are a joke. I will never ever go back there…. If you want to be behaved like a s**t, then it’s the right place to go

The staff is so helpful. I bought trousers online and it was too big, as the size chat is wrong. I called them and they found the right number on another store for me.
I think the click and collect works pretty good as well. My husband liked a trousers in the store, didn't have his number, I found it straight away on line and bought it.

Customer service was fantastic. I was asked upon entry if I needed help with anything. I tried on the item I wanted and purchased it. Very satisfied customer.

Good range with a clearance area downstairs. In other regards, like any other Kathmandu store - friendly staff, same products.

Very poor service. Not at all interested in my sale. Was there to buy shoes.waited and waited for a team member to acknowledge me.not busy.only a couple of other customers. Over 12 mins. Off to MacPac!

Very poor customer service, plenty of staff walking around, none interested in helping, the one that did speak just barked an order of "you must use hand sanitizer its a condition of entry" this was my first time in a Kathmandu store and it will be my last

Great products, but no customer service at all. Do yourself a favour buy online and get the same impersonal service and save some money.

Bought a tent from Kathmandu
Used once or twice
Developed a hole
Told not covered by warranty
But can be repaired if paid for
Cheap goods, cheaper service,
Avoid at all cost

I really like this store, sure it's small and a bit pokey but it's well stocked and the staff are friendly
