Service here is great, they have some great clothing and equipment, though some of their most recent clothing releases lack durability, having returned 2 pairs of shorts and 1 winter base layer hooded shirt, due to manufacturers defects

Really happy with the service here from Lincoln and David. Have been served by David in the past, always been happy, one item I had to bring back due to quality issues, after contacting customer care online the team in the store were really helpful and have put a smile back on this long time Kathmandu customer’s face. Great down jackets!

Great team. Was hunting (by phone) for a specific item that was end of season - after a bit of hunting they went out of their (Dan) way to contact me and put the item aside. When I eventually picked up the item the staff on duty were super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend the Frankston store and staff. Thanks.

The items are pricy but if you need something for travel or skiing etc. The staff are really helpful and if it's not in your size they'll order it in.

I usually love this store and it's great staff and service. Today I needed help and had lots of questions. Staff member stated there is the section you need, we don't have a big selection and walked away before I could ask my questions. She was so dismissive and rude. Fortunately I went to a competore close by, great service abd was able to make my large purchase. Feeling disappointed!

Bought a jacket today and was served by a young red haired guy who was very arrogant, rude and unfriendly. Looked to be far more interested in chatting up the tall yound lady he was working with than serving me. Completely ignored me when I asked two questions. A course in customer service would be a good idea.

I have a bushwalking background in Brisbane Bushwalking Club and. Y. H. A. Bushies Qld clubs over 55 years in both. Kathmandu has stores. Australia wide.

Plenty of choice and change rooms to try things on. Floor staff were very helpful and went above and beyond.

Simply wanted to return a defective jacket, which was authorized online to return, so I posted my Flinders jacket back to their warehouse. 3 weeks went by with still no refund, and I actually had to call in just to get very poor customer service. They stated, "We don't return items that are used". When clearly, their return form included an option to return a used item. Be sure to expect your jacket to tear easily with the lightest scratch, leak feathers from the start and have poorly designed zippers that struggle to do up.

The manager of the store who is Lincoln is exceptional polite caring and went above and beyond to help me I am so grateful to have received this level of service. Lincoln u are very special And make shopping a pleasure

I have only been in store once but the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Assisted in my enquiries and made sure I was aware of any appropriate care techniques to maintain the jacket I purchased.
The interactions ensured I will be a repeat visitor. Excellent

Went into the Frankston store today to buy my children a coat each. The staff are extremely friendly & definitely know their products. Any questions that I asked, were answered. They were in no rush, they took their time to get the right item & fit for each of my children. Lincoln was the man that helped me & Jacqui and another young man were at the registers to assist me with my purchases. Another bonus was it was 50% off! I would highly recommend this store & its staff members.

I brought a $300 top of the range pair of Solomon's hiking boots just 57 days ago and they've almost worn through the tread already.
I walk every 2nd or 3rd day for 6-10km, so lets say 20 days of walking 8km average, thats 160km and I'm basically through the tread, that's honestly terrible.
Very comfortable boot, but I'll have to consider returning them because it's simply not an acceptable rate of wear for a $300 shoe.

Bought a pair of boots and staff were great. Do apologise as I didn't get the young blokes name (guess the dreadlocks may help) but very helpful. Looking forward to another 2500ks/3000ks walking with new boots.

Very happy to keep shopping here even though it's online I didn't have any problems. Quality service and personal are extremely helpful

I received an awful jumper from mum for my birthday.
I didn't want to offend mum, and sort to exchange it without the receipt.
Lincoln, store manager, refused an exchange and denied any conversation.

I have shopped at Kathmandu for the past 20 years. I am disappointed with their attitude and I will not be shopping there again.

Has great products and very durable. Their sales are very generous with 40% off travel today & also picked up a bargain in the clearance section today on a Windcheater which are great as they don't pill & wash really well

Top quality equipment and clothing it is much better to pay the few extra dollars and become a member and enjoy all the benefits that come with that. I have found it much better to buy the premium quality clothing for the winter months rather than try and save just a few dollars and suffer in the cold and wet. Helps making camping and skiing just that little bit more enjoyable
