Kangerong Holiday Park reviews
43We stayed for 4 nights in one of the cottages, and thought that the cottages were up there with the best we have ever stayed in. They were modern and roomy with a full kitchen. TV in the lounge and bedroom. The park itself is small, but lovely and quiet with no road noise. Just across the road to the beach and and walking track. A short walk to the shops. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, we could not ask for more. Would highly recommend and we will return, thank you for a lovely stay.
Love this little holiday park. My little touch of paradise an hour from home. Peaceful, laid back, run by really nice owners. Great for a weekend away. Walking distance to shops. Across the road from the beach.can't wait for my next holiday there.
Gotta say this was one of the worst caravan parks we’ve been to. Service was not great and the amenities also not great. We made do but we weren’t impressed. They booked us in the wrong space although we were told that they initially could place our campsites together.
We really enjoyed our stay, beautiful place nice clean amenities and shower/toilet ensuite to yourself. Lots of fun activities like heated pool and trampoline directly across from the beach and close to many cafes, pubs and shops. The staff were great the man on reception was exemplary, very happy person awesome customer service. Wished we could have stayed longer!
We stayed there twice. Both times in a beach house. The location is good. Beach is a 5 mins walk. They have everything fit a quality family time.
Horrible park.very small and everyone squashed in.dont take a boat.its a nightmare.
Reception people are lovely though
Staff were friendly and helpful, the park was always clean, family friendly and conveniently located.
I have visited the park several times over the last few years and was really impressed by the cleanliness of the whole park. In particular when one of the employees named Marty was on duty. Upon my visit this year (January) the toilets were very dirty, the floors were wet and slippery and the BBQ's were not clean. It was noticable the difference in the standard of cleaning, in particular because Marty hadn't been on duty during my visit. The atmosphere of the park wasn't friendly and happy like other years and cleaners were not seen and if they were there, they were not interactive and friendly with the campers. Very disappointing as the fees for this park and very expensive and standard was definitely not up to scratch.
We arrived here on 6th January and needed a powered site for our campervan. Even though they were full they sorted a little parking spot for us at the back with power for 50 dollars. We were very happy. They really helped us out! Nice site too, close to the beach lovely staff. Would stay there again.
Great place to stay, lovely salt water pool, BBQ & children's activities, caring & very efficient staff & management.well worth holidaying in.
Cannot believe this is a Big 4 park. Very average and out dated facilities. Clean and well presented otherwise.
Just checked out from Kangerong holiday park after a 2 night stay over Xmas and everything was perfect.
Received a warm welcome and check in was easy. We had a lovely studio cabin and it was excellent. All facilities and amenities were in brilliant condition and the whole cabin was tidy and clean.
The park is across the road from a lovely beach and the local town has a few bars, shops, bottelo etc.
Really impressed with the whole experience. Thank you.

Stayed the week before Christmas.
Nice and quiet. Kids could pretty much do what they wanted.
Actually that week before Christmas down at the peninsula was great.
The Holiday Park is small and cosy.
Would go back again.
The reason only 4 stars was a few hiccups with our room.
But staff were very prompt in getting it fixed and even gave a refund back of a day. Do we couldn't really ask for more.
Beautiful place to stay has lots of stuff to do at the park such as hot swimming pool games room ride bikes and scooters around bbq dvds broad games beach across the road and so much more. The stuff are so friendly and very helpful and have lots of knowledge definitely be coming back for a longer time
Hi Recently myself and my son spent 5 nights at the Kangerong holiday park. We stayed in one of the cabins, and i must say that it was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The managers Steve and Liz went out of there way to help you and were very friendly. They even gave me chocolates and a card for my birthday and all of the staff sang happy birthday to me. I will definitely be coming back to stay again, and would recommend it to everyone. Thanks again Steve and Liz for making our holiday such a great time. Debbie
We were travelling from Rye to Mooroolbark on Sunday 29/4/2018. I noticed the temp getting very high so I took the Dromana exit off the freeway. The car had to be towed and fixed. Thank god for Kangerong Holiday Park and the fantastic manager Liz. We got a villa for the night. This was wonderful as I am on a walking stick and my friend Rose has a very bad back so we are unable to walk any great distance. We write this review because honestly we both thought customer service was a thing of the past but not at KANGERONG HOLIDAY PARK. Liz made us very welcome with her lovely smile and friendly and welcoming manner. The staff were lovely and it was wonderful to feel so welcome. The accommodation was A1. Very clean and comfortable. We would strongly recommend Kangerong and if you travelling down that way and need accommodation drive into Dromana and stay over. Your excellent and Thankyou Liz from Rose and Kerry.
Not ideal for tents. Was kind that I could stay, while it was fully booked. Still I consider $30 a lot for a tiny one man tent which I could pitch just on a spare piece of grass.
The night (after midnight) was noisy because of group of people that kept walking around while talking loudly.
Facilities are good and clean.
Had a great time beach was close and shops were close to so that was handy very friendly people
To many people quashed in, no one follows the rules, still nosy past 12pm. Is close to the beach though and accommodation was alright
Small compact caravan park. Very short walk to the Dromana Beach. Clean, tidy and facilities for most people. 16 powered sites. Lots of cabin accommodation. Very popular this time of the year. Book 12 months ahead.
