Kanasta Caravan Park reviews
44Nice and warm compact cabin that can fit 5 people easy. The family love it. Kitchen is well equipped with glass, cookware and utensils. Really good for family with kids.
The park staff and the owners are very helpful. Our trip was impacted due to a snap covid lockdown in the state and the owners helped us get our refund for the unused amount. It involved a lot of back and forth with the booking website but the owners were patient andsuper helpful.
Thanks and look forward to staying here again in the warmer weather
The cabin we stayed in was very clean and had everything you could wish for, it was a very quiet park not far from beach, shops and restaurants, a very enjoyable stay
Stayed in a cabin which was clean and tidy. Had everything we needed. Only downfall not much for the kids to do as the games room was small. Kids were intimidated getting there as there were adults sitting around drinking near the entrance. Not much to do in there anyway. The park is quite small. And waking up to a barking dog is not pleasant. Overall was ok, especially location. Would recommend for couples, singles but not families.
I booked through an agent went to go there and was told my booking was cancelled and they kept my money! Be careful booking here
My family and I stayed in one of the cabins and it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in for years. Spacious, clean; everything we needed. Only a few minutes walk to the shopping district. The only hassle is having to deal with Melbourne traffic to get there.
Will definitely return.
Good value for money.
Late on a Friday evening, no powered sites available in this area, so we grabbed a cabin.
Unit 52, CLEAN & TIDY & the double bed exceedingly comfy.
Thank you ladies.
Been there many times. The whole park is bit congested but inside the accommodation it is very good.
Hi guys. Thank you for the stay. I really appreciated the cabin upgrade at no cost at check in. It's a lovely place to stay at and very quiet and also homely. Was going through a tough patch so it felt good to just get away and your place and environment provided was greatly appreciated. Thank you
Great stay as always.
One of the few Caravan Park's left on the Mornington Peninsula.
The staff here go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable.
The park is always improving, eg the roads are being done and even more new cabins have been added. There is also this cool Retro Glamping you can try which is like camping but cheating! You get a super comfy bed but it is inside a caravan with a massive annex! It has everything you need minus the tent! The bathrooms although older were clean and tidy and very retro to go with the theme of the retro glamping.
The park is also expanding in that it has a really nice Holiday Home next door so we are thinking of hiring this as a group booking so we get the best of both worlds in that we get to still use the facilities of the park while enjoying a large holiday house with a hot tub.
Thank you Lisa and staff for a fabulous weekend. Nothing was too hard when it came to the booking and checking us in. Lisa went out of her way to accommodate for us and we cannot wait to come back. Highly recommended. The cabins are fantastic for families. Thank you again.
Stayed for two nights in a cabin. Staff were great, the cabin was clean and well presented. The park is handy to the shops and beaches, easy walk if you are inclined. Good communication, and a good price for us.
Amazing Glampers. What an experience! Neat, tidy, safe and Secured kids friendly park.
Absolutely awsome place to stay would rank 5 out of 5. Must visit Caravan park
No one of the caravans have ensuite but communal toilets, showers, bbq area, gaming zone were spotlessley clean and shiny.
Lisa and Andy absolutely fantastic hosts.
The owners were absolutely fantastic and so welcoming, the park atmosphere was so friendly!
We stayed in the mavis glamping van which was a must do experience, beautifully decorated and so cosy!
We Will be returning for sure!
Sorry can't recommend. Cabin was tiny and old. We had booked a small cabin but it was much smaller then expected. The linen / covers on beds was dirty. We closed a bed room door and it locked my daughter in. We had to break the door handle off to get her out. We left as early as we could.
It's a nice little place for anyone and the pool is fantastic to cool off and relax, My partner and I was upgraded to the family suite and I must say I absolutely loved it, was a great size room with an awesome size ensuite and open the blinds of the 2 big windows right there is the pool a joined to your unit, walk out your door and take 5 steps and your at the pool gate, so there's no worries with the kid's because you can always see them and even have a chat with them through the windows if you want. So there's my opinion on the Kanasta I you will enjoy it as much as we did.
Close to the beach. Great for the kids. Nice people around. Front gate is locked at night. Games room is dated. Roads do need fixing. Nice wooden playground area.
Kanasta caravan park I would highly recommend, it is one of the best places to be especially with children. My mum, dad, and my sister with her family stayed at the park with us obviously there own cabins.
All the kids had an awesome 5 nights last year and we are ALL returning back this weekend.
Cabins were very clean and just perfect.
Plenty of space to park and plenty of activities to entertain the kids.
My kids absolutely adored Lisa and they are thrilled to see her again.
Lisa respects our requests and definitely is very customer focused well done see you this weekend
This was such a nice, clean, cosy and affordable family accommodation. Played board games and snuggled in after a day at the Peninsular Springs and Enchanted Maze Gardens.
Great pliace to stay, looks old from the outside, but the inside of the cabins are immaculate, clean and definitely will stay again and recommend staying there
