Have used the nursery area of the store for years for home & two large, country gardens. Ashleigh is a knowledgeable & enthusiastic nurseryman. Can’t speak highly enough of the service I’ve received for small & large garden projects.

Huge store with well stocked items. Great location easy access from freeway and major roads. Ample parking spaces available. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Before coming to store I called and spoke to a staff member to check for a product, very polite and helpful.

Convenient location as there's no other hardware store for ages. However, range isn't huge and prices higher than what you would pay at the green shed competitor/

Very helpful staff. Called to check for a specific item. Staff went to look for it straight away. Called me back and placed it aside. Upon arrival, staff was very friendly and took out the item straight away. Also appears to have a good variety of fruit trees. Will be back

Great local hardware store that’s always helpful and friendly.

I always try to visit my local team here rather than a bigger chain. They’re happy to assist with anything and while their range might not be as big, I’m supporting a local business.

Note - they do convenient gas bottle refills cheaper than the swap and go at most service stations.

Quite disorganised and very cramped. Not a good shopping experience. Very cramped and confusing.

Never visit this place! I am aware of at least three people who were horribly abused there for not wearing a mask although they were medically exempt. This is in breach of the Disability Discrimination Act and the owners should be heavily fined and/or persecuted!

THE MOST VILE TREATMENT I HAVE EVER HAD. I took my father here late last week. He is 87 years old and is in a wheelchair. He has a severe skin condition that makes him unable to wear a face mask. As we entered the store I in my mask and my father without one, I was asked to put a mask on him. I casually said that he is exempt from wearing a mask. A gentleman approached and said ‘It doesn’t matter, in my store you wear a mask’. I tried to reason with the guy and even offered to show dad’s medical certificate that he carries. He didn’t care one bit. He just told this 87 year old wheelchair bound man that he could wait outside and that he shouldn’t be out of his house. Disgusting. I reported them to Covid Hotline. Never going here again.

Absolutely disgusted in this place. I recently moved to the area and I went today to get some indoor plants. I’m 65 years old and have emphysema. As a result my doctor gave me a medical certificate to show that I cannot wear a face mask. I was harassed within a second of entering the store and asked to leave because I didn’t have a mask on. I tried to tell them that I have a medical condition. The staff didn’t care. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager came and said to me that it’s his store his rules and to put on a mask or leave. Well I left. Never going back there again.

I entered Johnson & Reilly Mitre 10 in Niddrie without a face mask as I have a valid and current medical exemption. The store manager told me to leave the store on the basis that I did not have a mask. I explained that I had valid mask exemption and offered my medical certificate, (even though I am not obligated to show it). The manager said he didn’t care and that it is store policy and that they would not sell me anything. I called DHHS to get the information and they referred me to Victoria Police. As I was on hold to DHHS another staff member made threats of assault towards me causing me to drop a leaf spray bottle in shock and in anticipation of being assaulted. The employee then approached me in a threatening manner causing be to bump into some stock on the floor behind me. At that point the employee assaulted me and pushed me into more stock. I contacted Victorian Police immediately and they attended the scene and took a report. Should I press charges? Should I report this business for violating the Discrimination Act and CHO directives?

That's despicable - touching a customer and harassing them because they have a mask exemption. That's assault. Won't be shopping there again.

Good stocked store with excellent customer service and attentive staff.

Easy access immediately two minutes off the Tullamarine freeway, with plenty of parking.

I called for click and collect and I was quickly put in contact with a customer service representative who found the item in stock by using the part number and told me I could come down immediately and pick it up. Which I did - I just drove into the car park and called them and they brought the item out to my car, obviously during the Covid lockdown time here in Melbourne.

Update: to add insult to injury, their knowledge of their own products is a joke to say the least. I purchased, under recommendation, expansion foam to seal between brick wall at wood roof trusses. Was told that this product will to the entire length that I needed (10 lineal metres), of a 30mm gap and to “. Just spray it up in there”. Can of foam needs to be held upside down, foam didn’t stick to the brick or wood like they said (yes, prep done right), and to be generous, covered merely half of the distance I needed to be filled.

I went to mitre 10 the other day and i am exempt from wearing a mask (ptsd) this rude elderly gentleman came storming up to me "where is ur mask" i said i was exempt he said badluck this is a privatly owned store and u will not be served. Then went and got the manager because i refused to leave and its against human rights. The manager followed me around like i was a criminal repeating u will not be served. Use to shop there alot as i am local and support small businesses but never again now.

Very friendly & helpful staff found what I was looking for very quickly. I had been looking for a while through heaps of fasteners (they have a big range) and had no luck. Asked a staff member & instant success lol!

Worst customer service by the rude brunette cashier with the personality of a cardboard box! Thanks for making my decision to drive another 10 minutes from Niddrie over to Bunnings! You can stick any of our further purchases from now on.

Good selection of hardware, if.you need something quick. Most things come packaged so expect to pay more for it then a normal hardware.

Always love this store. The regular full time staff I know and trust their opinions and advice, and their help is never cut short. They take time to explain everything.
I’ve even had to ring them as I was running late one day to pick up supplies and it was close to closing time. They had it all bagged up and ready to hand to me as they closed. Now that’s what I call service! Love supporting local businesses that go the extra mile. Customer for life!

I bought my 6 burner BBQ few years ago and now they don't supply spare parts. But overall its always a good place to shop!

Great shop, not too many items of distraction (its a proper hardware nursery shop). Small nursery but fairly extensive range. Friendly staff
