This place is incredible. Great flavours, good amount of spice, very well priced and excellent variety across the dishes.

The service is pretty good, especially based on how busy this place gets.

Be prepared for a 30 minute wait, but it's well worth it. Highly recommend.

Service was pretty bad, was told to go get cash as they dont accept cards during lunch. My card is stored on my phone, so i can pay by tapping my phone. I ended up walking 10 mins in the 37 degree heat to the nearest ATM for my bank, because i didnt have my card or cash on me. They have ATM in the restaurant but i cant withdraw as its not a contactless ATM (cant tap). Food was ok, but portion was small and expensive. Doodee is so much better.

Service is poor. The staffs were clearly noticed and heard when they were called but acted as they didn't hear or see anything. They could always choose to find other jobs that suit them if they they dislike their current job.

This place is over-rated! Full of MSG! Place is over-crowded when I was there and the service was horrible. Dont be tricked by the fancy interior, plates and cutleries. The meal was average and the pricing was high. I'd rather go to Tomtoon Thai Restaurant just round the corner.

Been to Jinda a couple of times. Is always very busy but service is surprisingly quick. The food is full of the flavours of Thailand and if you order the dishes with chilli they are prepared with the amount of chilli you'd expect in Thailand. Not the cheapest feed in the area, but you won't be disappointed. The only thing lacking is parking. Don't even think about trying to park in Ferguson St. Easier to park at The Hive then get your parking validated at Safeway or Aldi with a bit of shopping afterwards.

The place is always packed whenever we visit. Sometimes there is a long wait if you don’t book in advance. Cosy atmosphere. Unique wall decor. There is a great variety of dishes to choose from. Food is really tasty but the pink soup with calamari is not my favorite. Overall experience was great.

Food is great, decor and atmosphere top notch, service a bit abrupt. I'm local but tend not to go here due to the queues and long waiting time.

First time was great but thereafter not good!
Given a table for 1 hour as we couldn’t book but when we arrived told there were others booked for the table so couldn’t stay long.plates taken away in a rush whilst we were still eating & portion size quite small yet pricey. I also had terrible stomach cramps after the dinner for the whole evening. Not happy & will not be going back! Very disappointed!

$35 minimum card. Bring cash or pay the fee on this lovely ATM they conveniently offer in the corner. Thai tax dodgers think they're still in Thailand but ATO watches everyone here.

Beautiful and hidden away Thai restaurant. We were told to make a booking as it normally gets very busy. Luckily for us we didn’t have to book and got a table instantly at around 5pm on Friday

Nice food. Prompt service. A bit too squashy to be fully comfortable. Charged everybody $5 corkage even though some only drank beer purchased at the restaurant. We had a large number of people, maybe it would be better with less people in the group. Would go again.

This is by far one of the best thai food places I have ever been to in my life. Even the thai food in Thailand cannot match what you can find here. I was totally swept off my feet. Service was good, waiting time decent (please come early to avoid disappointment). Their mille crepe cakes are great but you can also buy them next door at the Talad Thai provision shop for 50 cents cheaper. (HAHA). But wow after trying this you will never look at Thai food the same again.

Great flavours although food items' size is meant to be shared by two persons or just order more than one serve to enjoy them more.

CASH ONLY for lunch. The service was ok. They put us on a table near the door which was pretty cold saying that's the only spot a pram would fit but when someone else asked they said its fine to move tables. They kept bringing and passing dishes over the high chair, why pass dishes over the kids, what if it spills on them? I had to ask them to clear the table when they walk by. They are friendly staff just not intuitive staff. Food was fine, pleasant. Parking is pretty limited. We coincidently got there early on a Sunday and swiftly a line formed behind us so it seems popular.

I really enjoyed the evening there, though limited time allowed. The food are in small portion and slightly pricy, but the taste is amazing. Nice environment, the service can improve a bit more

Good Thai restaurant with a large variety of dishes. We generally visit it when around in the area. Interestingly, the serves seem to get smaller & smaller every time.
Also, it's a cash only practice which can be a bit inconvenient

This is my second time been to this place and I can say this experience was so bad. I had make a booking for three on Saturday night but when I came there someone told me they didn’t have my booking due to some stupid staff’s mistake, so we have to wait another 2minutes to get the table, horrible customer service! They didn’t even say a sorry to me! And we found that all dishes (Pad Thai or Chashew Chicken and all) are smaller than a side compared with the first time.and most of dishes are over priced than other Thai in Mel.
How this place can hold such high review is beyond me. Sorry to say that, but I would strongly recommend they should train their staffs how to service customer be friendly and please they have to say sorry to customer when they make such a stupid mistake.

Place is busy and they don't take bookings on lunch time. So first come and first serve basis. Great food and quick service. Highly recommend for Thai food here. Will be back for more

Still great food and service. Prices are a little steep and glasses a little small. But still a great place for lunch and very chilled. Not too crowded.

I would never ever go back to this place again. Last night my best friend and I went here for dinner. We were told our seating time was from 6-7: 30pm. We finished our meal by 7pm and were literally forced to leave as they brought the bill straight away and were hovering around our table expecting us to leave. When we went to pay they said we had to have a minimum of $35 each to split the bill when the sign said over $35. Staff were not accommodating at all. Never again.
