JIC Language School (Japanese & Chinese) reviews
55I completed the Beginner C level in February 2022. My teacher Chikako was patient and helpful. I appreciated the structure of the classes and the reading materials provided. The option to attend virtually was also very convenient for my schedule.
Had my first class and the teaching is amazing and fluid. Chen is thorough and enthusiastic when teaching!
I have been studying Japanese in JIC for one year now and I will continue as far as it goes either on site or online. It's super fun in the classes, interactively provided by qualified Japanese teacher, the teacher will always keep you talking and practice in classes. Raise your questions anytime, can always expect a fun answer or discussion, my teacher Makkiko is super nice and fun. Study material provided is beginner friendly and well structured for pattern learning as well. Overall, it has been a fantastic experience and a five star recommendation for those who want to study Japanese language and learn more about Japan.
Very punctual and polite communications. Excellent teacher, patient and very helpful. Loving my lessons:)
JIC is a great place to start learning Japanese or Mandarin. The teachers are really good and make a good learning atmosphere.
Very happy with the services here. The teacher Maki is amazing and she is very dedicated. I am currently in my Beginner A class - Japanese but will definitely enrol more. Highly recommend!
I'm studying online with JIC and I feel like I've learned a lot in a short time. I'm excited to continue. It's a good challenge and you cover a good amount of content in each course. There's a good balance of revision and new material in each lesson so you can absorb it and make fast progress.
Started Japanese Beginner
teacher name start N very polite. Even if the teacher not know English it’s ok they are trying to understand so thats what’s makes Great Teacher.
I've just completed my first Mandarin course at JIC and I must say that I've throughly enjoyed the friendly and professional way the course was run. My teacher, Mi, conducted the classes in a very engaging and supportive manner but also fun as well. Would definitely recommend!
The teachers may not know English much but they are trying to understand that’s is a great Skill to have
I have just finished a Chinese course with JIC and I’m very satisfied. The teacher is very nice and friendly. JIC staff was very fast in replying to my enquiries and resolving any problems that I had.
My 12yo daughter couldn't continue Japanese at her new high school so I registered her with JIC online as we are in Brisbane. Her experience has been very positive, her tutor is engaging and she feels positive about continuing through the courses. Very happy with all staff interactions and looking forward to seeing my daughter' confidence grow as she progresses. Thanks JIC
I've just finished the first term and Im already enjoying it so far the teachers and the students are chill kind and pretty cool Im so happy that I took classes here definitely recommend.
Offers first class as free trial. Friendly teachers. I have been taking online beginner Japanese classes during COVID. From lesson 1, teacher speaks mainly in Japanese and it’s great way to immerse yourself in a language
Mami sensei is a fantastic teacher. The course is well organised and the curriculum is easy to follow.
My experience taking the Chinese Beginner A course was very enjoyable. My teacher (Clancy) was attentive, and the material was practical and challenging enough. Overall, it was a good six weeks and I am looking forward to continue doing future classes!
I took the Beginner A course. It was very informative and interesting to learn. The staff was very professional in dealing with my request for changing my class time (which was supposed to be on Sundays, but I made a sudden change into Saturdays), which I really appreciated. Sensei was super nice, friendly and patient with students. Class size was small and manageable (4-5 students), which I really enjoyed because we bonded easily into great friends over the course of the class.
I studied Japanese Beginner A course here and it was amazing!
The tuition fee is quite affordable and teachers are passionate and very friendly. I learnt a lot here.
I would totally recommend this school to friends.
Sorry I don’t believe all these positive reviews. I tried the free beginner course. Even though it was free, it was a waste of my time. Sorry but have to be honest.
