Jells Park reviews
65Decent place, can get busy on weekends and public holidays. Dogs are on leash. We couldn't find a rubbish bag so bear that in mind when you visit
Have revisited this park after close to 20 years and it still holds well today. Plenty of rolling grass fields to throw down a picnic rug, plenty of shade as well as variety of play grounds. The central lake also plays home to plenty of Birdlife and the running tracks link in with the Sheppard's trail that will take you into the CBD.
Beautiful park wonderful for picnic and plenty of room for the kids to play. Dogs are allowed on a leash or owner's supervision.
We had a lovely day meeting our friends from far and wide at Jells Park. It is a lovely park and very green at this time of the year. Good for those who are still concerned about indoor venues.
Excellent new larger children's park near cafe. New play equipment.
Obviously fun for kids as many families were there.
Really nice park, however, just be mindful it can get super busy! Especially on weekends! Lots to do, and really family friendly. Lots of space to play games, have a picnic or barbecue and really nice walking track! I am yet to try the Cafe, but it also gets really busy, so I can assume it is also pretty good! The playground is pretty new and looks super functional. Definitely returning to the park!
Great place for a walk. Massive park. Plenty to do. Just dont bother to get a coffee from the only cafe in the park.just not good.
Lovely park with lots of shade! There's a lake you can walk all around with a few large picnic shelters around the park. Heaps of space to spread out and find a shady area on the grass even on a busy day.
Great space and facilities for picnics and BBQ with friends. The toilets are well below hygiene standards and somewhat ruin the experience, and parking is very limited and can be difficult.
Heaps of space, lots of undercover areas with BBQs, so if you miss out on one there are others. You can play music there with no issues. Great playground for the kids. My two year old loved playing peek-a-boo in the maze.
Not the place to be if you are looking for solitude and or a peaceful retreat. Expect cyclists to push you off walking tracks and swear as they go past. Children and dogs chasing one another. Picnicers spreading out. However, a magical green space within the city with huge but yet unrealised potential.
Favourite place to go
Will be better if Monash council can provide some trash and recycle bins
Great space, lots of room to kick a footy has sheltered areas.picnic tables. Don't forget to bring a garbage bags. No Bins provided.
This is a very nice and big park. Lots of areas to walk around and catch up with family. Easy to find car parks but it could get really busy. Good area to do picnics and walk the dogs.
It's a beautiful park with natural bird sanctuary for the ibis, herons etc. Big park for families to bring children for a picnic. There are at least 2 playground and great walking trails with great views of huge ponds with lots of wildlife. There is also a cafe for coffee there too. Plus public gas BBQ station.
Relaxing ambiance. One of my favorite parks in Melbourne. Winter, Spring, Summer, or Autumn it's a good place to spend with friends and family, You can make alot of good memories in this park. And also thanks for upgrading the Playground.
My favourite park for a fun day! Outside of lockdown, it's a great place with friends and family. New kids playscape coming soon!
Great park with excellent playground facilities for the kids. Lots of excellent walking trails. Can easily spend half a day here, perfect place for a picnic. I think there is one cafe on offer but in my opinion better to bring your own food.
What a fantastic playground they have made, I was super impressed, the team that designed and made it should be so pleased with how wonderful it is! The sculptures, the layout and equipment, just the whole place was awesome! Highly recommend taking your kids they will love it!
It has everything. A huge kids play area, bbq pits, walking trails, cafe, sheltered areas for gatherings and a lake in the center of it all. It's also part of the Dandenong Creek Trail and you can cycle through the park.
There's ample parking but it does get busy on weekends.
