JB Hi-Fi reviews
45Such a vast range of music and movies. Also love the retro vinyl and the pop culture games, t-shirts and posters on offer. Always go in for one thing and come out with cd's, DVD's, pencil cases, notebooks, jigsaws and coffee mugs! Really good place to buy gifts for pop culture, music, movie and TV fans. Avoid going at peak times if possible.
Terrible display, things poorly laid out and displayed, hopeless staff, small and crowded. The problem is when you are paying somebody $20 plus per hour to assist customers, you are keeping staff to a minimum. No excuse for the poor lay out of display, looked like a $1 store
It was great if there's something they havnt got and another store has it bam they just transfer and you pick it up within the week thanks
Bought many items from JB Hi-fi all over Australia over the years. Found the exchange process and post sale support excellent. Much better than shopping online from an overseas supplier.
Love the click and collect experience. Parked my car. Called the store. Friendly person delivered my goods!
Rude and terrible customer service. I was after help during a quiet period when I visited last, staff would glance at me then turn away and walk off. Like helping me was the worst thing ever. 20mins later I finally got help and I got the runaround for products in the wrong parts of the store. I had to find it all myself, I ended up choosing the wrong product I felt could have been avoided with a little help. I have no interest in shopping there again.
I have never have this at other jb hi fi stores. Not a good experience.
After having a bad experience with another company that took money out of my account and didn’t deliver the product I called JB HI-FI. Item was in stock, employee saved me time by sending me a link via sms, paid for item. I received a confirmation email within 15 minutes and picked it up 15 minutes after that. Excellent service.
Click and collect is a joke, don't use it. JB hi fi will take your money for items they don't have in stock, such a dishonest way to conduct business.
The staff, Nigel to be specific was very rude and unprofessional. However, everyone else was good. But the management needs to take an action towards training her and teach her how to be humble, polite and helpful when someone is seeking help.
Waited for over 30mins to get someone from the telco to speak to. This despite me letting others know I am waiting. One lady team member was so rude she kept saying stay here stay there and despite that noone came. Worst customer service ever.
Store layout could be upgraded, as entry way can get quite bottlenecked with people trying to get through narrow walk ways. Does have good selection however no whitegoods, but goes the job for electronics.
If you know what you want and know where it is in store than it would be q great place to shop. Stood there for a bit and then searched the shop for 20 odd minutes. Then asked a girl typing away on her phone. I politely interrupted and asked her about the ps4 product I was looking for. She reply "It's not my area and turn away and walk to a room out the back of store. I'm sure they could see me, I'm 6 foot 3"! And wearing high vis. Any how been in there 3 times and each time service was poor so was product knowledge. Also the store is all over the place and finding what you need can be hard. And probably not the best store for wheelchair access either.
Huge store with almost all the electronic brands. Very friendly staff and was very well maintained.
A bit cramped. I struggle to get my scooter in and around The shop. Needs some reason design for disability pensioners access. Good selection of music and games for ps4, I. E. My console and other brands. Laptops are too pricey for my budget only on a pension.
Great product range and good quality products, average prices, very disappointed with lack of staff to get advice from.however l still bought something once we found what we wanted.
The store itself is fantastic! No qualms there.however the staff just need to be more happy.is it so hard to smile?
Had been misinformed by another jb location about the ability to add insurance post-purchase.
The manager at jb southland informed me it was a mistake but still respected that the other store misinformed and let me add insurance post-purchase. That's how customers should be treated! ️
JB HiFi you may have the products and the price but what you lack is the service! On 3 separate occasions I’ve entered your Southland store early (when not smother customer was in site). Only to find staff avoiding eye contact. When someone does finally drag themselves over to offer assistance they lack the skills to ask the right questions, offer alternative suggestions & pretend to care about their customers. Very, very disappointing.
Terrible customer service.
No one said hello when I walked in, no one even made eye contact, no smiles nothing.
I walked around looking for 15 minutes. Until finally someone said hello.
Amazing that this can even happen with so much information about sales techniques and customer service strategy available for free online.
I went to Footlocker upstairs and the ladies said hello to me within seconds of walking in the store with big smiles and we spoke about how bad the service is in JB HiFi.
Super easy for JB to fix this problem too. It really shouldn't be a problem to begin with, day 1 sales training, say hello and make eye contact with a smile.
Took a lot of time to get help and/or service. They appeared to be under-staffed. I ended up leaving after about 15 minutes.
