JB Hi-Fi - Elizabeth St reviews
61Bought a deLonghi Nespresso machine only to discover when I went to register it for warranty that it was a factory seconds with limited warranty. Sought and given refund but no apology.
It was mid week quiet time. Three staff members at the front kept talking about their weekend plans and swearing, completely ignored me and other couple of people that walked in. Luckily another staff member who was doing something else offred help!
We can always find a way to save our problem without your unfriendly staffs, especially after our purchase, but we can also choose don't come back again no matter how convenient of your location! Guys, come on, learn how to smile and be polite when you're serving your customer, I know it's boxing day, you just want to make your customers pay, but remember after the payment customers are still customers, DO NOT show the ugly face straight away, we don't owe you anything!
I walked into this store all angry and crazy because I got a bad computer. The staff were amazing. They put me at ease. Fixed my issue and set me on my way a super happy camper. It was awesome.
Absolutely fantastic. The staff is really helpful and they care of you're needs. Anyone can help you with what you're looking for. And the guy in the cashier is absolutely polite and fun!
I went in to collect an item, I didn’t have photo I. D, the woman at the till - Caucasian brunette was so rude about it. Really didn’t feel like a valued customer. A bit of friendliness goes a long way. Disappointed.
Stood by a product for 20mins before I gave up and had to hunt down an employee, horrible service. Only useful employee was the security guard, make him head of sales!
This JB Hi-Fi has great customer service with friendly staff. They have a wide range and it's really conveniently located. They also have good price matching and returns policies. I like going in and browsing when I'm in the city.
Incredible selection of jazz cds and real rock collectors items from the 70, plus stacks of new vinyl. Very friendly staff and fairly good prices on items in stock. The well worn facade on the outside is no indication of the treasures therein. There is also a small dvd section that (when I was there) featured some excellent arthouse & box-set bargains.
Range of products is highly limited, a better alternative would be to order online, no real price difference between the actual manufacturer and this retailer
The greeter at the front of the store didn't seem to know where any of the products were, but the staff member in the speakers section knew her stuff and was able to help us. The display units which have built in testing functions are very useful.
As always you can probably shave a bit off the price by shopping around, but not as much as I expected.
The store was quite busy on the Sunday afternoon, but that's to be expected in the city.
Went to the Elizabeth St store to see if I could get help with a phone I bought at another store a month earlier, and got some incredible help from Ian, who after seeing the issue straight away started the paperwork for a refund or swap as defective, and I swapped straight over to another phone and couldn't be happier. This is the exact reason I didn't buy online this time - was a great experience.
The go-to destination for electronic goods. They have the variety and that helps in comparing similar items if you have not decided which brand to buy. The staff is very helpful in explaining the features and walking you through the different options available. They will also match the price of an item, which is priced lower at a different retailer. For me, the matched the price of Fitbit Versa, which was priced lower at Officeworks.
Not so wide range of variety. I went to buy a mobile phone that was displayed on their website, but when I reached the store, they said it's not in stock. All sold out in Victoria.
The service is slow but the prices (if you do your research) are reasonable. Given the lack of physical stores these days is nice to have a couple of options still.
Staff are usually pretty good as far as mainstream department store staff go. They're keen but not too keen. Store security can sometimes make you feel unwelcome.
The only thing JB Hi-Fi should be called is JB Hi-Price, the cables there are being sold like gold, 1 metre of USB C cable for $30? Are you joking? To all its fairness though, they have a good refund policy (except the Nunawading store). Just go to Jaycar, scorptec, PCCG, et cetera, they'll have better prices than JB Hi-Fi
The manger (the guy with heaps cool tattoo on the arms) was very helpful and friendly. After sale service was good and make me feel welcome. Thank you. Heaps better than the staffs on bourke street JB hi-fi.
Was fairly cramped, though that's to be expected with the area. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is I got asked 3 times if I needed a hand within 5 minutes.
Staff were helpful, wait time at the register was pretty good considering how busy it was. Was a little confused as a lot of stuff was on locked clips, but more expensive versions of that product weren't. Wasn't a big deal as staff were helpful.
