I have been looking for a transformer to use my Canadian electronics here in Australia. Matt was great. Took the time to really listen to my needs and give me the product that was right for Me. It was clear he is passionate about his job and he just had a great vibe to him. Jaycar is lucky to have such a great employee. Thanks guys

Lost channels. Went into Jaycar for some advice regarding lost channels the gentleman that served me suggested starting with the good old fashioned “rabbit ears”. And if that doesn’t work the next step set top box. Went home Auto tuned and “happy dance” $12.95 best spent. Always go to Jaycar for electronic advice they never fail to deliver. Thank you very much.

Bought an extender from Jaycar and just couldn't get it to connect. Infact sent messages to the company as there was no contact number. Called jaycar and spoke with ASHLEY.he went through the process and got it working. Cannot thank him enough for being so patient and assisting someone with minimal tech knowledge

Extremely unprofessional rude staff who are uneducated with electronics. Wasted 45 minutes of my time went in to buy a battery charger was sold a charger which charges from your first battery to your second battery if you have a camping setup (I have a normal vehicle with 1 battery)

I like the shops and have been a customer for a while, but have to say customer service can be shocking at times with experienced staff apparently being amused at customer questions. I'm seriously considering never going back and would advise anyone that goes to these shops to brace themselves for potentially having staff rolling their eyes at your question. Probably should have learnt everything beforehand so I wouldn't have any questions, or just head to Scorptec maybe, seems faster! Quite disappointing!

Emily Kate @ Coburg store.what a gem! I walked in with little to no knowledge on solar and how it works. She stopped and took the time to assist whilst the phone was ringing like crazy and more people kept entering. What a great asset to this business. She nicely excused herself when she had to attend somewhere else but would always come back and remember where she had left the conversation. Cheers Emily Kate. I’ll be in tomorrow to get that fridge/freezer to start my camping adventures!

Over the years 30 of in fact Jaycar has been my go to for everything electronics, that was then.
I purchase a non contact laser thermometer for around $130 when i could have spent far less, got to work only to discover that it wasn't suitable for my purposes. I called in the same hour and was told that there is no exchanges (I was happy to buy a more expensive one) on this item at all
(so covid was not the ultimate factor) In fact via email I was told the same thing & also that "our website clearly states this ".
When selling under these conditions how about the salesperson have some product knowledge then to check that it will suit my purposes.

I will never buy off you again and any money you have saved by not
satisfying me has already been lost to you in the form of continual sales to me. If anybody want's the email from head office i am more than happy to send it to you.

Customer service horrible. They didn't want to listen to me to choose the suitable product. I went to Jaycar Thomastown and they listened to my requirement and sold me the correct product.

Didn't let me shop as i wasn't wearing mask (exempted) said he will fo it for him to save cleaning shop.really? So all the people delivering and stacking shelves are ok? Do you clean the whole shop after every customer? Yet we can handle food at coles.wake up Melbourne

I was sold the wrong thing by the sales person. It was supposed to be a female to male jack and they sold me a male to male. When I went there to exchange they told me they couldn't because it was past 7 days, although still in the unopened original packaging and 11 days from the date of purchase, during covid regulations when we are trying not to go out too much. Really not impressed.

I tried to politely return a dodgy product and the guy behind the counter said they weren’t doing any returns was really rude and tried to convince me I was wrong and the product worked. He eventually sighed and threw the box on the ground and agreed to the return. Really embarrassing for him. Not gonna shop here again

Jaycar is great and the customer service I got was awesome. When I asked a questions about product I wanted to buy I got answers and they new what they were talking about.
