Jaycar Electronics

I managed to jam the battery in my guitar tuner by inserting it incorrectly. After trying to remove the battery myself, I was convinced all I had done was kill the tuner. On my way to buy another, I went into Jaycar Springvale.
A nice young man named Alex stepped up with gadget CPR, he persevered with grips, tweezers and bloody-minded determination until tadaaaaaah - out came the battery. In went the new one, and my tuner was alive and well again.
Thanks Alex, you are a champion.

Great customer assistance and care taken when I attended the store yesterday. A faulty dog clipper was tested for a number of possible faults by the keen to assist and technically knowledgeable staff. Thanks for your first class service.

It's ok. There isn't much competition so I should be grateful for any shop taking the time to sell components. It was disappointing that there were no 1N4148s when their stock said they'd have 72 of them. The staff are very helpful finding things which is great. It would take forever if it wasn't for this help

John was amazing. Installed a new battery in an old dustbuster for me which I thought was going to have to be thrown out. Couldn't recommend him & their service highly enough. Excellent value for money. Thank you John:)!

Women beware: or don't if you want to revisit the 1950s, to remember why we've moved on.
Really disappointing that the several times I've been there the male staff seem happy to stand around talking to the old dude bros and comparing phallis lengths, presumably, and telling each other how pretty they are.
I really resent having to shop there, and would prefer to buy literally any where else,
So I won't be.
Jaycar has a serious customer service issues, especially around women.
The staff don't seem to think our cash has the same value, so clearly you don't need mine!

This is the go to place for electronic components and many other electronic devices. The team are very knowledgeable and always helpful and spend time to solving you're issue or problems.

Needed a magnifying glass for my father, who has vision problems. The staff member was very helpful and patient, assisting dad to try out various options before buying.

Great store, they are friendly and very helpful. They even gave gifts to my kids that were with me. Thanks

Go in there buy what you need do not ask for their help their fn con artist your end up getting twice as much as you need.
In fact you're better off going up Princes Highway towards the city look on your left-hand side half a Km then guys much better.

John is so epic. He not only showed me where the components are, but also asked me the purpose of each component, so that I didn't end up getting components that wouldn't work in my project. Immensely thankful.

Customer service was not great. The staff wasn’t very knowledgeable or helpful. They do have some cheap stuff but I wouldn’t recommend going to Jaycar springvale if you can go somewhere else.

Jaycar Springvale is one stop shop for all our tech needs. The staff at Springvale store especially their manager (Mr Gagan) is just amazing. He is always helping and understand our requirements and suggest best solution. My son need to build solar car and battery operated car for his school project (grade4) and the manager their guided us and provided all the parts and components. Most of his toys (tech) are from Jaycar. This store has amazing collection for young minds.

Useless staff very hardly pick the phone and it's very hard to get fix faulty products they they been selling
