Avoid their Powertech rechargeable batteries! I bought 12 units of rechargeable batteries from Jaycar and they are junk. They last about 10% the duration of a standard battery and frequently come up with an error message on the charger when they are charged. The price is too good to be true and it is - avoid. Worthless item. Jaycar team, I hope you are reading this review and would withdraw this item from your store.

This is the only place you can buy a quality flux capacitor. Don’t buy anywhere else for your time circuits.

Great service, awesome team, courteous, friendly and helpful. Special shot out to Scott who went above and beyond to help with a particularly troublesome issue. Would definitely recommend swinging by for your electronic solutions. 10/10

Everytime I call or go into the city store the guys are always so helpful.they go out of their way to make sure I’m asking the right questions and getting the right thing. Even when it’s like a $4 product and it’s not worth anything to them to be helpful they still always go out of their way.

Very bad service. Walked in today to purchase a power supply adaptor and tested it on my device. However the price is expensive $30 so I asked if there are cheaper ones available; he (tall and with a moustache, slim looking probably in his late 40s) ditched my sale and put the product back on the shelves and told me the exit door is on another way. He showed my way out by rejecting the sale. Very unprofessional service and I will not visit anymore. Radioparts and Middy electrical are way better and more affordable than Jaycar! What a service I’ve experienced today!

I need a new 12v lead for my Waeco. I walked into the beautiful well laid out store in Melbourne and felt confident I was in the right place. I had gotten the part number and checked stock online. The person I was dealing with said they had 3 in stock but he couldn’t find them. He then tried to make it my fault by saying people ring up to check before coming to buy. He showed no interest in trying to help me. Colin.

The staff member Ben was rude as all hell when they sold me a faulty already used product off the shelf. I had to come back to exchange and he told me I had to stop and wait and if I kept talking it would take longer to fill out paper work because they sold me a faulty item.

Wouldn’t deal with this rude person or store ever. If was my employee he would be fired.

Rang and asked Scott for some help regarding the inaudible tone I was getting through my BOSE sound bar while watching TV and Netflix etc. When I rang I had to hang up quickly before they were able to answer. To his credit, Scott called me back (when he could have easily acted like everyone else does and not call), and took the time to leave a message. Soon after, we chatted and Scott suggested a solution which worked perfectly. There was no product sale and nothing really to gain, but his assistance means I will now go to Jaycar for all my future electronic needs. Thanks again Scott!

Friendly staff & decent inventory. The support I received from Ben this morning was remarkable. I feel that Ben really took the time to listen to my queries attentively & tirelessly so that he can best assist me. I learnt quite a few things on diodes & some basics on circuits which made the experience a further enjoyable one! Big thanks.

Very good customer service. Nothing was a problem. Asked a lot of questions of the staff and the treated each question without a worry.

Have things in the store that wasn’t aware of. Clean and tidy and well laid out.
Recommend.

Generally friendly and willing to help. The section on the wires and components is self service, so remember to cut your own wire.

Had to buy lockpick set but was looking to get one pretty urgently. These guys seemed to be the only company to actually have physical stock in their store. Called another store and they told me they're illegal to sell therefore they didn't have any.

Friendly and helpful with zero sales pressure. They talked me out of getting something that would have been wrong for my use case and helped me find things that I hadn’t considered but will need. Top service, will be back again.
