Japanese Teppanyaki Inn reviews
57What a fabulous experience! Food is delicious. Service is outstanding. Atmosphere is fun! Terrific night out
The food and entire experience here at the Teppanyaki Inn would be by far the best in Australia. I have been to the Inn four times now over the last 5 years and can highly recommend this as a place you don’t want to miss while in Melbourne. We started with the Sashimi, which was the best I had ever tasted then we moved onto the Teppanyaki Special Dinner, what a sensational meal cooked right in front of you by Japanese chefs. We washed down the great food with a couple of bottles of red wine, there is a great selection of fantastic wine at the restaurant.
Amazing food and even better service. Loved our night here! Our chef, Arabiy, was incredible, he was so considerate of our 1 year old. He offered him fruits and played with him as he was getting restless. Would recommend to everyone.
Authentic Japanese style teppanyaki. They respect their customers by cooking and serving food in fresh and tasty manner. No throwing of food which is the traditional Japanese style. Everything is just professional and great value.
Food was fantastic. The staff were so beautiful and supportive. The spot was perfect and had a pleasant air. The costs are somewhat steep however in case you're willing to pay for the experience it's justified, despite all the trouble. The sushi was crisp and heavenly. By and large a pleasant encounter.
Our family favourite restaurant, every special occasion since I can remember has been spent here. Take note everyone - REAL TEPPANYAKI IS NOT ABOUT THROWING FOOD! If you want to see real skill & eat the most delicious food you’ve ever eaten - come here. If you want someone to throw things at you, this is not the place for you
Just been to their restaurant in Melbourne, and it was a good night, the food was really nice and great from the price.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
We had the wagyu special set and thought the food and experience was fantastic. Personally I think the pricing is a bit steep, the wagyu special set was $90+. Cheapest on the menu was the chicken set $60+. Be prepared to spend a little more to fully enjoy an authentic teppanyaki experience. Wish the pricing was cheaper so we can come back regularly.
We always eat here when in Melbourne and always enjoy the food and teppanyaki experience. We'll be back.
Unfortunately the substance doesn't match the style.show but I'd rather just pay for the food. 2 prawns, 2 scallops and 150gr of beef with veg - $80.
It was amazing and delicious. The seafood was abundant and surprisingly well worth the money. The mushrooms and garlic were simply the best. Service exceptional. Definitely would return
Always Amazing! Incredible experience watching talented chefs prepare your food right in front of you. Delicious meal and great atmosphere
My partner summed it up best when he exclaimed "Loved! Every! Morsel! "
We shared the Moreton Bug course dinner, and Wagyu tenderloin course dinner. The staff, the atmosphere, and every single menu item were top notch fantastic!
Best Teppanyaki restuarant we've visited to date!
One of the best dinners I have ever had. The chef was amazing. She explained things well and recommend how we should try the Wagyu beef. The customer service was great start to finish. The food delicious. Will come back on our next trip to Melbourne.
This is a CBD upmarket teppanyaki restaurant with none of the showy theatrics of many. This restaurant takes its food seriously and it shows. The wine list is good and the service good. It's a little tricky to find but well worth a visit either for lunch or dinner.
Very fresh meat and outstanding sashimi. Great location and attentive service. Great dinner out.
