IT-Tech Online - macbook logic board repair specialist

I had a tricky repair on a Macbook Pro display flex cable and IT-Tech Online handled it brilliantly, and quickly. No-one in Brisbane does this type of specialised repair, and I was apprehensive about posting an expensive piece of kit for interstate. But their communication was excellent and reassuring. Francis helped with instructions for packing, and was in contact when received and again with photos of the Mac display working again. Pretty quick turn around too. It was great, and has extended the life of a machine that would otherwise have been scrapped. Thank you!

Fantastic service! Very happy with the repairs completed - was able to repair dead MacBook screen (water damage) without having to replace entire screen to save on repair costs. So grateful!

I'm so thankful for Francis and her husband for the work they do. They were professional in every way. Francis called me when she said and said they'd had numerous issues with my Macbook Air because the USB-C had shorted. They continued working on it and I got it back tonight. All my data, 100% working. I had been told by MByte in Fitzroy that they needed to replace the logic board but IT-Tech came through. I'm so thankful to them.

Had a water damaged MacBook Pro which wouldn't boot.
Opened it up myself to confirm there was water corrosion.

Apple quoted about $3k to 'repair' it (replace the logic board, screen, keyboard, and pretty much the rest of the guts.not actually investigate the technical problem, like a shorted chip, and replace that).

I'm a bit dubious when it comes to 3rd party repair stores as I've seen some average quality repairs of friends old phones and usage of non genuine Apple parts.

Did a lot of searching online for a MacBook repair place and came across here.
About 350 5 star reviews seemed too good to be true, but from reading many of them, they looked all legitimate. Many of who also had water damage.

Called up and spoke to Frances. She was extremely friendly and transparent about their repair process and potential costs involved.

Decided to bring it in and within 24 hours it was repaired at 1/3rd of the cost that Apple quoted me.

One month later the laptop is still operating perfectly.

I don't often give reviews but the customer service, pricing and quality of workmanship was faultless. Many thanks!

Francis was amazing from start to finish. I had to reschedule a couple of times and she was always accomodating. Diagnosed the issue so so quickly (dead battery) and was super clear about timing to get it back and costs.

I read all the prior reviews and was pleasantly surprised that the service lived up to the expectations set.

Frances was amazing, very knowledgable and true to her word. Frances was able to upgrade my old faithful iMac 27" late 2009 machine with a new GPU and SSD 1TB and now it runs a lot faster is more responsive and she also provided software to manage and control the heat aspects of the computer to reduce overheating potential.the service was excellent and very quick! I came in the day i called her with my machine, she reviewed and assessed it, gave me an immediate quote for its repair and I had it back 1.5 days later as good as new! Faced with having to throw my beloved Mac out and contribute to the waste in the world, this is a fantastic outcome for the environment and me and the machine will be hopefully good for another 10 years! I had a SDD and a new Logic Board put in my i Mac. The shop said it worked fine. When I brought it home, it would not turn on. The business I had taken it to was already closed for the day. I tried several suggestions from various sites, including Apple's! Your suggestion of unplugging the unit for 15 seconds, plugging it back in after five seconds and then pressing the power button did the trick! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!

Could not be better, they repaired the MacBook on the day of receipt and delivered it back on the first business day there after. They kept me informed constantly. The only failure was Australia Post's slow delivery on return.

Believe the hype! Despite being apprehensive at first I shipped my waterlogged Macbook Pro down to IT-Tech online in Melbourne from Sydney and within days Frances had worked her magic. Tremendous communication, old school customer service - can't thank you enough for your assistance.

Frances delivered a friendly and confidence inspiring service. She explained everything and the repair work was executed quickly. Receipts and warranty periods given. Am happy to use their services again and would highly recommend them to all. My 2019 Macbook Pro suffered water damage and after receiving an estimate from another repairer to fix it the estimate was more than the purchase price so i thought it was gone. IT-Tech Online fixed it within 3 days and as good as new. Its unbelieveable could save my Macbook and it cost me 1/4 of the purchase price. I'll be back to them in future and telling anyone with IT problems to visit IT-Tech Online.

I was on the fence about just giving up on my 2012 MacBook Pro, but then I met Frances and she was so knowledgeable about my computer I felt quite at ease having it serviced. When I brought it in it was running hot, black screen and my track pad was unresponsive. A quick swap of the logic board (took less than 24hours) and my laptop has been running great since I got it back in November.
