Island Burger Bar

The chips were fine. The service was below average; I was left waiting at the counter holding two drinks I wanted to purchase and the three staff there all saw me, but left me waiting without even acknowledging my presence.

The beef burgers are shocking. You could buy a beef patty from coles and easily make a better burger yourself. No flavour, low quality beef. Bread and other ingredients average. Didn’t finish eating it, even though I was starving. I think these guys have survived as a business purely on the virtue of having limited other open rooms available at walking distance in that area.

After a pleasant morning walking along the beach we called into Island Burger Bar at Cape Woolami. My husband had the chicken Cajun Burger which he enjoyed and I had the warm chicken salad. Absolutely superb. Enjoyed every mouthful!

Love this place! Great food including vegan. LOVE the sweet potato fries- a must have. All food made on the premisis or so they tell me.certainly looks that way. Onion rings great too.

I would recommend to have have a burger at this place. Very authentic and rustic. Small suggestion, island salad would benefit more then ingridients.

The ambience is very rustic and old school. The owner seems to be a music lover. They even sell CDs for those with common interests as that of the owner. Talking about the food, we ordered a salad and it was really delicious and impressive. By the looks, it looked very basic but it was too good. I'm glad to chose this place at random while our time in Cape Woolmai

Love this Burger Place! Staff are Great and I always enjoyed chatting to them. The Food is Made with that Isle Passion & Love! And I could eat the Salads for every meal:) Always changing it up with there specials Board! I have had some amazing unrecreatable food from that board. I'm moving away and I will miss this Burger Bar so much! Thanks for all the meals you have cooked for me and my family.

Food was adequate, not the best I have tasted but the staff were excellent. Really friendly. Even though they were closing they still didn't rush us and let us stay behind. Shame the food wasn't great. We tried the fried chicken and veg burger. None of which we were impressed with.

Probably the best gluten free chicken burger I've ever eaten. Not even joking Totally recommend this burger joint. Also recommend the sweet potato fries. Yum!

Thanks Steve. We rang in a late evening order and, despite they were soon to close, our order was ready waiting for us with smiles and lovely flavours.

Pretty run of the mill burger, I suppose there isn't too much competition, but it could have been a bit more exciting. Some of the other menu options may be good, but the burger wasn't what I hoped

The burger was decent and the chips were quite nice, I just don't think it was quite at the level that the reviews suggest it is. Overall a good experience, just not amazing.

What a great little spot to grab a bite. Lovely owner and staff. Plenty of options for all kinds of appetites dietary needs. Sit inside or outside.
Lovely courtyard out the back with the rustic up cycled decore. Fire pit. Top job love it! Under cover too carpark out front and across the road with public toilets. Definitely will come again

Great little burger joint. Would have given it 5 if the burgers we had (pinnacle and garden) weren't so tasteless, just lacked any sort of flavour.

Delicious burgers. The chips took the cake! We had the potato, sweet potato and vegetable chips! Great stuff! Also, the American burger was just so juicy and tentalizing! I highly recommend it. Service was excellent too. The chef was so helpful and friendly!
