Ipoh Parade Malaysian Restaurant reviews
54I like it very much. Getting takeaway for myself or dining in with family or friends is always a taste sensation. Food there is delicious especially the marmite chicken or pork dishes. Their char kway teow is also a favourite. The way they treat their vegetables is simply flavoursome without getting over complicated! Try it!
Came for late dinner.
Service was very friendly and pleasant.
Dishes ordered were all very tasty
Will return to try the other stuff next time.
Mini lobak
Very tasty, can definitely taste/smell those spices mixed in with the meat fillings.
Salt & pepper chicken ribs
Nicely done, taste not too overwhelmingly tasty/salty.
Sizzling homemade tofu
This one is one of those thing that you must have to share!
Very nice tofu with egg and meat+mushroom sauce.
Also get that fresh cut chili with soy sauce on the side to complement those dishes and you're all set
Great spot with authentic Malaysian food - we got the Laksa and Char Kway Teow, and both were fantastic.
Great wok hei utilised, and could be tasted in the char kway teow along with sausage (I think it was cantonese sausage, providing a nice sweetness), delicious fish cake and prawns.
Highly recommend.
Far superior to local competition. Very casual setting. Warm service. Excellent Malaysian food.
Saturday 27/3/23 A generous 3 as the team front of house were so positive.
Malaysian staple roti needs heaps of work. I wouldn’t order again. San Choi Bao was average
The beef cashew was solid with the homemade Sambal a great add. Chilli and Green Chilli extras offered too.
Crown Lager Aussie staple always nice on the menu.
Poor service and over priced bland food.
We went for lunch as a group of 8. We all ordered at the same time, but the food ended up slowly coming out one dish at a time. The last person ended up getting their meal 45 minutes after the first person.
One of the orders we had to keep asking where the meal was as people who arrived after were getting their food before us.
The vegetarian green curry was a rip off. $24.50 for a handfull of green veggies in a bland, watery sauce with no chilli or spice and no rice. How can you justify that price?
The staff were pleasant to deal with though.
Excellent Sunday lunch special- popiah and rojak. Both made of fresh ingredients and very authentic. Restaurant situated at a beautiful and upmarket suburb Armadale easily accessible by tram and train. Parking a bit tricky but still available
Small local restaurant offers decent range of Malaysian foods! The portions were quite large. Staffs were attentive and friendly.
Really delicious Malaysian food and authentic as per my friends review as well.
The staff are very welcoming and make dining in a lovely experience.
Not to mention the $12 lunch menu is insanely good value. I have gotten the Laksa at least 12 times and I feel I am ripping them off only paying that much when it has chicken, bean Puffs, fish cakes, eggplant, 2 types of noodles and other ingredients I can't remember at this time.
I need to come try the Sunday specials as they have some dishes only available whilst in stock on a Sunday.
The best Malaysian local restaurant, you go for the food and service, not the decor. We always have the vegan meat dishes. WOW! Worth a visit if you’re a local. You won’t be disappointed!
Nasi Lemak would've been really good but anchovies were terribly cooked as it was too tough to eat, also no roasted peanuts.
Fantastic Malaysian Food! We are so glad to have found this little gem. The flavours are authentic with great prices also. One of our go tos!
Amazing service and the most delicious Malaysian food I've ever eaten. Authentic and delicious. Serving size wasn't big but I'd take quality over quantity any day and this place is not lacking in quality that's for sure! Will be coming again for the delicious and tender beef rendang!
Great food, reminds me of home! I highly recommend the Homemade Tofu with Broccoli and Minced Pork even if you're not into tofu, the texture and taste is different to your usual tofu.
We ordered 6 dishes for a group of 5 and was enough for us. Other than the tofu, we liked the Beef and Vegetables with Cashew Nut as well, but really they were all delicious!
Good Malaysian restaurant! Egg sauce hor fun has excellent wok hei. Can’t wait to come back and try the other dishes!
Some of the food portions are way too small for the price you pay for it. Not worth the price. I won't go there anymore. Food taste ok only.
Nice and tasty dishes here. Only had take-aways but they have all been winners. Mini lobak is a great entree, nice textures.
The combination hor fun with egg gravy is a favourite. Char kway teow is nice and rich with good sized prawns.
Good portion sizes for the price. Highly recommend.
Good good and service. Still excellent food and great value. The chicken laksa and green seafood curry are excellent and have helped us through this lockdown mess.
Whenever I crave Malay food I usually order at this place. I love their char kway teow. May has really good customer service!
Great friendly service
The Malaysian Chicken Curry is a personal favourite of mine and never disappoints. Wait time was spot on for pick up time and there was plenty of parking.
Highly recommend this place for tasty Malaysian meal.
